1H−イミダゾール−1−エタノール,2−(8−ヘプタデセン−1−イル)−4,5−ジヒドロ−

参照配合物Aに類似する別の配合物が調製される。しかし、それはグループIIの鉱油で調製される;DIパッケージは、3.9%スクシンイミド分散剤(50%油)、2.9%過塩基化CaおよびNaフェネートおよびスルホネート清澄剤(27〜42%油)、1.0%ジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛(9%油)、0.25%アミン酸化防止剤、140ppm商用消泡剤、ならびに少量の追加希釈油を含む。配合物は1−ヒドロキシエチル−2−(ヘプタデセニル)イミダゾリン0.5%を添加することによってトップ処理される。

Claims (18)
- エンジンおよびクラッチを有するオートバイを潤滑する方法であって、該クラッチではなく該エンジンに、以下を含む潤滑剤を供給することを含む、方法:
(a)潤滑粘性のある油、
(b)過塩基化清澄剤、
(c)分散剤、
(d)リンの酸の金属塩、および
(e)少なくとも約8個の炭素原子のヒドロカルビル置換基を有するヒドロキシアルキル置換イミダゾリンであって、該ヒドロキシアルキル置換基は2〜約8個の炭素原子を含むヒドロキシアルキル置換イミダゾリン。 - 前記ヒドロキシアルキル置換イミダゾリンの量は、前記潤滑剤の約0.01〜約5重量%である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒドロキシアルキル置換イミダゾリンは、1−(ヒドロキシアルキル)−2−(ヒドロカルビル)イミダゾリンを含む、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒドロキシアルキル置換イミダゾリンは、1−(2−ヒドロキシエチル)−2−(C8〜C24脂肪族ヒドロカルビル)イミダゾリンを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記過塩基化清澄剤は、過塩基化カルシウムスルホネート清澄剤を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記過塩基化清澄剤は、約0.6〜約5重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記分散剤は、スクシンイミド分散剤を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記分散剤は、約0.3〜約6重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記リンの酸の金属塩は、ジアルキルジチオリン酸亜鉛を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記リンの酸の金属塩は、約0.1〜約4重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記オートバイのエンジンは、4サイクル火花点火ガソリンエンジンである、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の方法。
- (a)潤滑粘性のある油、
(b)過塩基化清澄剤、
(c)分散剤、
(d)リンの酸の金属塩、および
(e)少なくとも約8個の炭素原子のヒドロカルビル置換基を有するヒドロキシアルキル置換イミダゾリンであって、該ヒドロキシアルキル置換基は2〜約8個の炭素原子を含むヒドロキシアルキル置換イミダゾリン
を含む、潤滑剤。 - 請求項14の成分を混合することによって調製された組成物。
- (a)潤滑粘性のある油、
(b)過塩基化清澄剤、
(c)分散剤、
(d)リンの酸の金属塩、および
(e)少なくとも約8個の炭素原子のヒドロカルビル置換基を有するアルコキシアルキル置換イミダゾリンであって、該アルコキシアルキル置換基は3〜約9個の炭素原子を含むアルコキシアルキル置換イミダゾリン
を含む、潤滑剤。 - 内燃機関を潤滑する方法であって、請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載の潤滑剤を該内燃機関に供給することを含む、方法。
- 前記内燃機関はオートバイのエンジンを含み、前記潤滑剤は前記内燃機関と関連するクラッチを潤滑しない、請求項17に記載の方法。
