Claims (36)
- 埋込み可能な医療デバイス及び消費者用電子デバイスと通信するための通信ブリッジデバイスであって、
患者のために携帯可能であるハウジングと、
第1の通信技術に従って前記埋込み可能な医療デバイスと無線で通信するように構成された前記ハウジング内の第1の送受信機と、
第2の通信技術に従って前記消費者用電子デバイスと無線で通信するように構成された前記ハウジング内の第2の送受信機と、
前記第1の送受信機と前記第2の送受信機の間に結合された前記ハウジング内のマイクロコントローラと、を有し、
前記マイクロコントローラは、前記消費者用電子デバイスが前記第1及び第2の送受信機の起動を介して前記埋込み可能な医療デバイスを制御かつモニタすることを可能にするようにプログラムされ、
前記マイクロコントローラは、前記消費者用電子デバイスと前記埋込み可能な医療デバイスの間にファイアウォールを提供するように更にプログラムされる、通信ブリッジデバイス。 - 前記第1の通信技術は、磁気誘導結合を使用して行われる、請求項1に記載の通信ブリッジデバイス。
- 前記第1の通信技術は、周波数シフトキーイングを含む、請求項1に記載の通信ブリッジデバイス。
- 前記第2の通信技術は、狭域RFプロトコルを含む、請求項1に記載の通信ブリッジデバイス。
- 前記第2の通信技術は、パーソナルエリアネットワークを確立する、請求項1に記載の通信ブリッジデバイス。
- 前記第1の送受信機は、コイルアンテナを含み、
前記第2の送受信機は、RFアンテナを含む、請求項1に記載の通信ブリッジデバイス。 - 前記RFアンテナは、ワイヤモノポール、印刷逆Fアンテナ、螺旋アンテナ、又は表面実装誘電体アンテナを含む、請求項6に記載の通信ブリッジデバイス。

前記ユーザインタフェースは、前記埋込み可能な医療デバイスを無線で制御かつモニタするために使用される、請求項16に記載のシステム。 - 前記電子デバイスは、モバイルフォンを含む、請求項16に記載のシステム。
