Abstract
【解決手段】加工機1は、材料―MR記憶演算装置5bとMR−V記憶装置5aを含む制御装置2を有する。MR−V記憶装置5aには、被削性指数MRと切削工具の切削速度Vの関係となるMR−V関係が予め記憶される。材料―MR記憶演算装置5bは、MR−V関係と入力された被削材の材料データに基づく被削性指数MRから最大工具寿命となる切削速度Vを取得しかつ前記切削速度Vになるように切削工具を駆動する駆動装置を制御する。

Claims (3)
- 被削材を切削する加工機の制御方法であって、
前記被削材の被削性指数MRに基づいて切削工具寿命を最大とする切削速度を設定し、
前記被削性指数MRが
MR=86.0−37.6×C―8.2×Mn−6.1×Si−5.6×Ni−3.2×Cr−3.1×Moから算出され、
C、Mn、Si、Ni、Cr、Moがそれぞれ前記被削材に含まれる炭素、マンガン、ケイ素、ニッケル、クロム、モリブデンのwt%である、加工機の制御方法。 - 切削工具にて被削材を切削する加工機であって、
前記被削材の材料データに基づき被削性指数MRを算出する材料―MR記憶演算装置と、
前記被削性指数MRと前記切削工具の寿命が最大となるように考慮した所望の切削速度VとのMR−V関係が予め記憶されているMR−V記憶装置を有し、前記被削性指数と前記MR−V関係から前記切削速度を求めて前記切削速度に基づいて前記被削材を切削する加工機。 - 請求項2に記載の加工機であって、
前記材料―MR記憶演算装置は、
MR=86.0−37.6×C―8.2×Mn−6.1×Si−5.6×Ni−3.2×Cr−3.1×Mo、から前記被削性指数MRを算出し、
C、Mn、Si、Ni、Cr、Moがそれぞれ前記被削材に含まれる炭素、マンガン、ケイ素、ニッケル、クロム、モリブデンのwt%である、加工機。
