Abstract

本発明を目的とする本説明及び特許請求の範囲において、以下の定義が適用される、様々な用語が使用される。
「生物医学的眼用装置」は、眼内又は眼上に位置することができる、任意の眼用装置を指す。これらの装置は、光学補正、光学治療の1つ又は2つ以上を提供でき、美容用であってよい。例えば、生物医学的眼用装置は、付勢されたコンタクトレンズ、眼内レンズ、オーバーレイレンズ、眼球挿入物、光学挿入物、涙点プラグ、又は視力を矯正する若しくは修正する、眼の状態を改善できるか若しくは阻止できる、及び/若しくは眼の生理機能が美容的に強調される(例えば、虹彩色)他の同様の眼用装置を指してよい。いくつかの実施形態では、本発明の生物医学的眼用装置として、シリコーンヒドロゲル、及びフルオロヒドロゲルを含むがこれらに限定されない、シリコーンエラストマー又はヒドロゲルから作製される、ソフトコンタクトレンズが挙げられる。

(1) 個人の季節性情動障害症状をモニタリングし、治療する方法であって、
付勢された生物医学的眼用装置(energized biomedical ophthalmic device)を着用する工程と、
涙液膜バイオマーカーの変化を測定する工程と、
前記測定された涙液膜バイオマーカーの変化を季節性情動障害の関連症状に関係づける工程と、
季節性情動障害症状の治療に使用される光線療法に関して前記測定された変化からデータを生成する工程と、
生成されたデータを光線療法計画に実装する工程と、を含む方法。
(2) 前記光線療法計画に従ってインテリジェントな光線療法スケジュールを策定し、かつ前記個人に特異的な1つ又は2つ以上の条件又は設定に基づいて行われた調整を補正する工程、を更に含む、実施態様1に記載の方法。
(3) 前記個人の眼環境がある期間曝される露光量及び光の強度をモニタリングする工程、を更に含む、実施態様1に記載の方法。
(4) 前記個人の概日リズムをモニタリングする工程、を更に含む、実施態様1に記載の方法。
(5) 個人の好みを収集して、季節性情動障害の治療に使用される前記光線治療に関連するデータを生成する工程、を更に含む、実施態様1に記載の方法。
(7) 前記バイオマーカーがメラトニンを含む、実施態様1に記載の方法。
(8) 前記バイオマーカーがインターロイキン−6を含む、実施態様1に記載の方法。
(9) 付勢された生物医学的眼用装置であって、
エネルギー源と、
前記エネルギー源によって付勢された光源と、
ユーザーの前記涙液膜に含まれる生体分子の変化を検出し、前記測定された変化に対応する信号データを生成できる、バイオマーカーセンサーと、
前記バイオマーカーセンサーと論理通信するプロセッサであって、前記信号データを受信し、処理して、前記光源の制御に関連するデータを出力する、プロセッサと、を備え、
前記光源が前記プロセッサによって制御され、かつ前記プロセッサに近接している、付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
(10) 前記プロセッサと通信する光センサー、を更に備える、実施態様9に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
(12) 前記分析感度を備える電気化学マイクロチップが、涙液膜内のメラトニン生体分子の変化を測定できる、実施態様11に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
(13) 前記分析感度を備える電気化学マイクロチップが、涙液膜内のセロトニン生体分子の変化を測定できる、実施態様11に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
(14) 前記分析感度を備える電気化学マイクロチップが、涙液膜内のインターロイキン−6生体分子の変化を測定できる、実施態様11に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
(15) 前記付勢された生物医学的眼用装置が付勢されたコンタクトレンズを備える、実施態様9に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
(17) アンテナを更に備える、実施態様9に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
(18) 前記アンテナが、外部コントローラからの電気信号を送信できる、実施態様17に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
(19) 眼鏡内に収容される第2のプロセッサと論理通信する前記プロセッサを備える付勢された相補的コンタクトレンズを備える、実施態様9に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
(20) 前記光源が1つ又は2つ以上の発光ダイオードを備える、実施態様9に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
Claims (20)
- 個人の季節性情動障害症状をモニタリングし、治療する方法であって、
付勢された生物医学的眼用装置を着用する工程と、
涙液膜バイオマーカーの変化を測定する工程と、
前記測定された涙液膜バイオマーカーの変化を季節性情動障害の関連症状に関係づける工程と、
季節性情動障害症状の治療に使用される光線療法に関して前記測定された変化からデータを生成する工程と、
生成されたデータを光線療法計画に実装する工程と、を含む方法。 - 前記光線療法計画に従ってインテリジェントな光線療法スケジュールを策定し、かつ前記個人に特異的な1つ又は2つ以上の条件又は設定に基づいて行われた調整を補正する工程、を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記個人の眼環境がある期間曝される露光量及び光の強度をモニタリングする工程、を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記個人の概日リズムをモニタリングする工程、を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 個人の好みを収集して、季節性情動障害の治療に使用される前記光線治療に関連するデータを生成する工程、を更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオマーカーがセロトニンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオマーカーがメラトニンを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオマーカーがインターロイキン−6を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 付勢された生物医学的眼用装置であって、
エネルギー源と、
前記エネルギー源によって付勢された光源と、
ユーザーの前記涙液膜に含まれる生体分子の変化を検出し、前記測定された変化に対応する信号データを生成できる、バイオマーカーセンサーと、
前記バイオマーカーセンサーと論理通信するプロセッサであって、前記信号データを受信し、処理して、前記光源の制御に関連するデータを出力する、プロセッサと、を備え、
前記光源が前記プロセッサによって制御され、かつ前記プロセッサに近接している、付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。 - 前記プロセッサと通信する光センサー、を更に備える、請求項9に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
- 前記バイオマーカーセンサーが、分析感度を備える電気化学マイクロチップ、を備える、請求項9に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
- 前記分析感度を備える電気化学マイクロチップが、涙液膜内のメラトニン生体分子の変化を測定できる、請求項11に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
- 前記分析感度を備える電気化学マイクロチップが、涙液膜内のセロトニン生体分子の変化を測定できる、請求項11に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
- 前記分析感度を備える電気化学マイクロチップが、涙液膜内のインターロイキン−6生体分子の変化を測定できる、請求項11に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
- 前記付勢された生物医学的眼用装置が付勢されたコンタクトレンズを備える、請求項9に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
- 前記付勢されたコンタクトレンズが、前記エネルギー源を封入する媒体挿入物を備える、請求項15に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
- アンテナを更に備える、請求項9に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
- 前記アンテナが、外部コントローラからの電気信号を送信できる、請求項17に記載の付勢された生物医学的眼用装置。
