Abstract
【解決手段】多入力多出力(MIMO)直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)システムにおいて空間周波数ブロック符号化(SFBC)、空間多重化(SM)、およびビーム形成を組み合わせる方法および装置。このシステムは、複数の送信アンテナ126を備える送信機110および複数の受信アンテナ128を備える受信機130を含む。送信機は、少なくとも1つのデータストリームおよび複数の空間ストリームを生成する。生成される空間ストリームの数は、送信アンテナ126の数および受信アンテナ128の数に基づく。送信機110は、SFBC、SM、およびビーム形成のうちの少なくとも1つに従って伝送方式を決定する。送信機110は、選択された伝送方式に基づいて、データストリームのデータを受信機130に伝送する。

Claims (3)
- 送信機であって、
複数のモードを用いて選択的に送信するように構成された回路を備え、
前記複数のモードの第1のモードにおいて、データシンボルは、空間周波数ブロック符号化(SFBC)を用いて送信され、前記データシンボルのペアの各々は、SFBCで符号化されて、4つのアンテナのうちの2つのアンテナであって前記4つのアンテナのうちの他の2つでなはないアンテナにより、送信され、
前記複数のモードの第2のモードにおいて、前記回路は、受信機からチャネル状態情報(CSI)を受信するようにさらに構成され、前記CSIはサブキャリアの複数のグループの各々についての変調及び符号化方式を含み、前記CSIの情報に応答して、前記回路は多入力多出力(MIMO)空間多重を用いる送信のためのストリームの数を決定するようにさらに構成され、前記回路は、MIMO空間多重を用いるストリームの前記決定された数でデータシンボルを送信するように構成されたことを特徴とする送信機。 - 前記回路は、第3のモードにおいてデータシンボルを送信するようにさらに構成されており、前記データシンボルは、単一入力単一出力(SISO)を用いて送信される、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の送信機。
- 受信機であって、
複数のモードを用いて選択的にデータシンボルを受信するように構成された回路を備え、
前記複数のモードの第1のモードにおいて、データシンボルは、空間周波数ブロック符号化(SFBC)を用いて受信され、前記データシンボルのペアの各々は、SFBCで符号化されており、4つのアンテナのうちの2つのアンテナであって前記4つのアンテナのうちの他の2つでなはないアンテナにより、受信され、
前記複数のモードの第2のモードにおいて、前記回路は、送信機へチャネル状態情報(CSI)を送信するようにさらに構成され、前記CSIはサブキャリアの複数のグループの各々についての変調及び符号化方式を含み、前記CSIの情報に応答して、前記回路は多入力多出力(MIMO)空間多重を用いていくつかのストリームで受信するように構成されたことを特徴とする受信機。
