Abstract
【解決手段】自転車の中空部材内に挿通される自転車用ケーブルにおいて、ケーブル外被26上に、発泡樹脂からなる被覆2を有し、被覆2の外表面には周方向に間隔をおいて2個以上10個以下、例えば4個のフィン3が一体に設けられている。

上記式中、D1は第1の被覆25の外径、d1およびd2はそれぞれ第1の絶縁心線23aと第2の絶縁心線23bの外径である。
直径0.08mmの錫めっき軟銅線30本を約10mmピッチで右撚りして、外径約0.50mmの撚線導体を得た。
発泡ポリウレタンからなる被覆に設けるフィンの数やその大きさを表1に示すように変えた以外は実施例1と同様にして、自転車用ケーブルを製造した。
Claims (8)
- 自転車の中空部材内に挿通される自転車用ケーブルであって、
ケーブル外被上に、発泡樹脂からなる被覆を有し、前記被覆の外表面には周方向に間隔をおいて2個以上10個以下のフィンが一体に設けられていることを特徴とする自転車用ケーブル。 - 前記中空部材は、自転車のフレームおよび/またはハンドルバーであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の自転車用ケーブル。
- 前記発泡樹脂からなる被覆の外表面に、4個以上8個以下のフィンが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の自転車用ケーブル。
- 前記発泡樹脂からなる被覆の外表面に前記フィンが周方向に等配されて設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載の自転車用ケーブル。
- 前記各フィンは同じ方向に湾曲していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項記載の自転車用ケーブル。
- 前記各フィンの厚みは0.3mm以上2.0mm以下であって、基部より先端部まで略同じ幅に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項記載の自転車用ケーブル。
- ケーブル外径が、前記ケーブル外被外径の1.5倍以上4.0倍以下であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項記載の自転車用ケーブル。
- 前記ケーブル外被の表面にタルクが塗布され、このタルク塗布層上に前記発泡樹脂からなる被覆が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項記載の自転車用ケーブル。
