Abstract
【解決手段】電波を受信するアンテナ(10)と、アンテナが受信した電波を整流する整流回路(24)と、アンテナと整流回路とに接続される伝送路(22)と、アンテナが伝送路に接続されているアンテナ接続部(22a)と、整流回路が伝送線路に接続されている整流回路接続部(22b)との間の伝送路に一端が接続され、他端から入力される変調された信号波の電圧に応じて容量が変化する可変容量素子(34)を有する変調入力回路(29)と、を備える。

Description
本発明は、上述した課題を解決すべくなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、送信機能を有すると共に、より小型化及び長寿命化が可能なレクテナを提供することにある。
また、アンテナから伝送路に搬送波が入力される限り変調入力回路と伝送路との接続部で反射が生じるので、搬送波の反射を起こすためのスイッチを設ける必要はなくなるためスイッチの劣化に伴う故障もなくなるので、簡易な構成で長寿命化が可能となる。
さらに、スイッチを設けるための物理的な空間は不要であり、スイッチを切り換えるための電力も不要となるので、レクテナのさらなる小型化や低消費電力化が可能となる。
図1は、本発明に係るレクテナを備える高周波回路の概略図である。高周波回路1は、レクテナ2、電力分配器4、及び変調制御回路6を備えている。レクテナ2はアンテナ10に接続され、アンテナ10で受信したマイクロ波(以下、搬送波という)を整流して直流電流に変換し、電力分配器4に供給する。アンテナ10で受信される搬送波の周波数帯は、例えば2.45GHz帯または5.8GHz帯である。
レクテナ2に入力された変調された信号は、後述するように、アンテナ10で受信した搬送波の反射波を利用してアンテナ10から外部に送信される。
出力フィルタ25は、ダイオード24に入力された搬送波が出力端子26に接続される直流電流ライン(図示せず)に流入してしまうことを防ぐために設けられている。
これにより、可変容量ダイオード34に変調された信号波が入力されると、当該信号波の電圧に応じて可変容量ダイオード34の容量が変化し、ストリップ線路22でインピーダンスの不整合が生じて搬送波の反射が発生する。即ち、搬送波が変調してアンテナ10から外部へ送出される。この反射波に変調された信号波を乗せて、センサ12からの情報をアンテナ10を介して外部に送出することができる。
従って、レクテナ2に、センサ12からの信号波をアンテナ10から外部に送信するための送信器は不要となり、レクテナ2をより小型化することができる。
さらに、上述したように機械的なスイッチを設ける必要はないことから、レクテナ2のさらなる小型化が可能である。また、スイッチを切り換えるための電力も不要となるので、低消費電力化を実現することができる。
例えば、上記実施形態では可変容量ダイオード34を用いて変調入力回路29のインピーダンスを変化させているが、変調入力回路29のインピーダンスを変化させることができる素子であればこれに限られない。

Claims (3)
- 電波を受信するアンテナと、
前記アンテナが受信した電波を整流する整流回路と、
前記アンテナと前記整流回路とに接続される伝送路と、
前記アンテナが前記伝送路に接続されているアンテナ接続部と、前記整流回路が前記伝送線路に接続されている整流回路接続部との間の前記伝送路に一端が接続され、他端から入力される変調された信号波の電圧に応じて容量が変化する可変容量素子を有する変調入力回路と、
を備えることを特徴とするレクテナ。 - 前記伝送路の長さは、前記アンテナで受信した電波の基本波の1/4であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレクテナ。
- 前記可変容量素子は可変容量ダイオードであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のレクテナ。
