Claims (5)

  1. 装置であって、
    近接場トランスデューサ(NFT)と、
    前記NFTに隣接する少なくとも1つのクラッド層と、
    前記NFTと前記少なくとも1つのクラッド層との間に位置決めされる不連続金属層とを備える、装置。
  2. 前記不連続金属層は、島状の膜構造を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
  3. 前記不連続金属層は2.5Åから50Åの平均厚みを有する、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
  4. 前記不連続金属層は、Zr、Ti、Y、Sc、Al、Ru、V、Si、Ge、Ta、およびSnから選択される材料を備える、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
  5. ネルギ源をさらに備え、
    前記近接場トランスデューサ(NFT)は、前記エネルギ源からエネルギを受けるように構成される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
