Claims (17)
- カソード、アノードおよびそれらの間に挿入されるセパレーターを含む電極アセンブリをこの順序で熱接合によって積層するための装置であって、
前記カソード/セパレーター/アノード積層構造を有するウェブがそれを通って供給される入口と、
前記ウェブを加熱し、それによって前記カソード、前記セパレーターおよび前記アノードの間で熱接合を誘起するためのヒーターと、
前記熱接合されたウェブがそれを通って送り出される出口と、
前記ウェブを前記入口、前記ヒーターおよび前記出口を通って輸送するためのトランスポーターと、
を含み、
前記トランスポーターが前記ウェブの上部および下部の少なくとも1つに接触する状態で前記トランスポーターが輸送駆動力を前記ウェブに与え、前記ウェブに接触する前記トランスポーターの領域を前記ヒーターが直接加熱し、それによってわずかな熱接合エネルギーを前記ウェブに伝達する、装置。 - 前記トランスポーターは、一方向に回転する一対のローラーおよび前記ウェブに接触しながら前記ローラーによって回転する回転ベルトを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記トランスポーターが前記ウェブの前記上部および前記下部の両方に接触する状態で、前記トランスポーターが輸送駆動力を前記ウェブに与える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記トランスポーターは、
前記ウェブの前記上部に配置される一対の第1のローラーおよび前記ウェブの前記上部に接触し、前記第1のローラーによって回転する第1の回転ベルトと、
前記ウェブの前記下部に配置される一対の第2のローラーおよび前記ウェブの前記下部に接触し、前記第2のローラーによって回転する第2の回転ベルトと、
を含む、請求項3に記載の装置。 - 前記トランスポーターの前記回転ベルトは、前記ヒーターによって加熱される、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒーターは、前記ウェブに接触する前記回転ベルトの領域を加熱するように、前記ウェブに接触する前記回転ベルトの前記領域に隣接して配置される、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記回転ベルトは、金属材料から製造される、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記回転ベルトは、ステンレス鋼から製造される、請求項7に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒーターの温度は、80℃から105℃である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ウェブの輸送速度は、400mm/sから450mm/sである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒーターによる前記ウェブの温度上昇速度は、20℃/sec以上である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒーターによる前記ウェブの温度上昇速度は、30℃/secから50℃/secである、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒーターおよび前記トランスポーターは、気密チャンバー中に配置され、前記チャンバーは、大気温度よりも20℃から70℃高い温度に設定される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の装置を使用して製造される電極アセンブリ。
- 請求項14に記載の電極アセンブリが、電解質溶液と一緒に電池ケースに密封される、二次電池。
- 単位電池として請求項15に記載の二次電池の2つ以上を含む電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、電気自動車(EV)、ハイブリッド電気自動車(HEV)、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車(PHEV)または電力貯蔵システムの電力源として使用される、請求項16に記載の電池パック。
