Claims (20)
- 長手方向に離れた排気ポートおよび吸気ポートを有する少なくとも1つのシリンダと、前記シリンダの孔に相互に対向して配置される一対のピストンとを含む内燃機関であって、各ピストンが端面を有する冠部を含み、第1のピストンの端面が、対向ピストンの端面と協働して略楕円形の燃焼室を画定し、湾曲隆起によって隣接される細長窪みを有し、少なくとも1つの冷却通路が前記隆起下で立ち上がり前記窪みの凹部下で上方に傾斜する非対称プロファイルを有し、ポートが前記少なくとも1つの冷却通路に配置されて液状冷却剤の噴射を受ける内燃機関。
- 2軸スリッパ軸受けが、前記第1のピストンをピストンロッドに連結する前記冠部の裏に搭載される、請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 長手方向に離れた排気ポートおよび吸気ポートを有する少なくとも1つのシリンダと、前記シリンダの孔に相互に対向して配置される一対のピストンとを含む対向ピストンエンジンであって、各ピストンは、端面を有する冠部を含み、各端面は、他方のピストンの端面と協働して燃焼室を画定し湾曲突出隆起によって隣接される細長窪みを有し、各ピストンは、前記隆起下で立ち上がり前記窪みの凹部下で上方に傾斜するプロファイルを有する少なくとも1つの冷却通路を含む縁部と、前記少なくとも1つの冷却通路に配置されて液状冷却剤の噴射を受けるポートとを含む対向ピストンエンジン。
- 前記少なくとも1つの通路が前記冠部の周囲をたどる環状通路である、請求項3に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
- 各ピストンが、環状通路によって囲まれる中央冷却通路と、前記環状通路と中央通路との間の流体連通を提供する少なくとも1つの穴とをさらに含む、請求項4に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
- 前記中央通路が前記窪みの最深部に対して配置される、請求項5に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
- 各ピストンが、前記中央通路を閉鎖する板と、液状冷却剤を前記中央通路から外へ伝達する板の穴とをさらに含む、請求項6に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
- 各ピストンが、前記中央通路を閉鎖し、前記ピストンの内部に開放される通路を含む連結機構と、液状冷却剤を前記中央通路から前記連結機構通路へと伝達する前記連結機構の穴とをさらに含む、請求項6に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
- 前記連結機構が前記ピストンをピストンロッドに連結する2軸スリッパ軸受けを含む、請求項8に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
- ピストンであって、
端面を有する冠部と、
対向して配置される別のピストンの端面と協働して燃焼室を形成し、湾曲突出隆起によって隣接される細長窪みを含む、前記端面と、
前記隆起下で立ち上がり前記窪みの凹部下で上方に傾斜する非対称プロファイルを有する第1の冷却通路と、
前記少なくとも1つの冷却通路内に配置されて、液状冷却剤の噴射を受けるポートと、
を備えるピストン。 - 前記窪みの最深部に対して配置される第2の冷却通路と、前記第1の通路と第2の通路間の流体連通を提供する少なくとも1つの穴とをさらに備える、請求項10に記載のピストン。
- 前記第2の通路を閉鎖する板と、液状冷却剤を前記第2の通路から前記ピストンの内部へと伝達するための前記板の穴とをさらに備える、請求項11に記載のピストン。
- 前記第1の冷却通路に接し、前記ピストンをピストンロッドに連結する2軸スリッパ機構をさらに備える、請求項10に記載のピストン。
- 前記窪みの最深部に対して配置される第2の冷却通路と、前記第1の通路と第2の通路間の流体連通を提供する第1の穴と、前記ピストンの内部に対して開放される前記2軸スリッパ機構の通路と、前記第2の通路と前記2軸スリッパ機構内の通路間の流体連通を提供する第2の穴とをさらに備える、請求項13に記載のピストン。
- 前記第1の通路が前記ピストン冠部の周囲をたどり、前記第2の通路を取り巻く環状通路である、請求項14に記載のピストン。
- 対向ピストンエンジンの対向ピストンの冷却方法であって、各ピストンが、縁部と、前記縁部に装着される冠部であって、対向ピストンの端面と協働して略楕円形の燃焼室を画定し、湾曲突出隆起によって隣接される細長窪みを有する端面を含む冠部とを含み、前記方法が、各ピストンに関して、
液状冷却剤の流を提供することと、
前記ピストンの端面に接する環状通路に流の液状冷却剤を集めることと、
前記ピストンの往復運動に応答して前記環状通路内で前記液状冷却剤を撹拌することと、
を備える方法。 - 各ピストンに関して、液状冷却剤を前記環状通路から前記窪みの中央部分下に配置される中央通路へと流れさせることをさらに備える、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 各ピストンに関して、液状冷却剤を前記中央通路から前記縁部の内部へと流れさせ、液状冷却剤を前記ピストンの内部から外へ流れさせることをさらに備える、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 対向ピストンエンジン用ピストンであって、
端面を有する冠部と、
前記ピストンと別のピストンが対向して配置されて略楕円形の燃焼室を画定する際に、別のピストンの端面と協働する湾曲突出隆起によって隣接される細長窪みを含む、前記端面と、
前記冠部に固定される縁部と、
前記縁部に搭載され、前記ピストンをピストンロッドに連結する2軸スリッパ機構と、
を備えるピストン。 - 前記冠部と前記2軸スリッパ機構との間に配置される前記ピストン内の冷却通路をさらに含み、前記冷却通路が、前記隆起の下で立ち上がり前記窪みの凹部の下で上方に傾斜する非対称プロファイルを有する、請求項19に記載のピストン。
