Description
Claims (6)
- 長手方向に離れた排気ポートおよび吸気ポートを有する少なくとも1つのシリンダと、前記シリンダの孔に相互に対向して配置される一対のピストンとを含む対向ピストンエンジンであって、各ピストンは、対向するピストンの端面と同一の端面を有する冠部を含み、各端面は、他方のピストンの端面と協働して、2つの直径方向に並んだ端部へと先細りになる半楕円形状を有する燃焼室を画定し、湾曲突出隆起によって隣接される細長窪みを有し、各ピストンは、前記隆起下で立ち上がり前記窪みの凹部下で上方に傾斜する非対称プロファイルを有する少なくとも1つの冷却通路を含む縁部と、前記少なくとも1つの冷却通路に配置されて液状冷却剤の噴射を受けるポートとを含む対向ピストンエンジン。
- 前記冷却通路が前記冠部の周囲をたどる環状通路である、請求項1に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
- 各ピストンが、前記環状通路によって囲まれる中央冷却通路と、前記環状通路と前記中央冷却通路との間の流体連通を提供する少なくとも1つの穴とをさらに含む、請求項2に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
- 前記中央冷却通路が前記窪みの最深部に対して配置される、請求項3に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
- 各ピストンが、前記中央冷却通路を閉鎖する板と、液状冷却剤を前記中央冷却通路から外へ伝達する板の穴とをさらに含む、請求項4に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
- 各ピストンが、前記中央冷却通路を閉鎖し、前記ピストンの内部に開放される通路を含む連結機構と、液状冷却剤を前記中央冷却通路から、前記ピストンの内部に開放される通路へと伝達する前記連結機構の穴とをさらに含む、請求項4に記載の対向ピストンエンジン。
