前記基板に実装され、複数のLEDが直列に接続されたLED列と、
前記LED列に直列に接続された電源経路と、
前記LED列内の少なくとも一組のLED間の配線と前記電源経路との間に置かれ、前記配線とアースとの間のインピーダンスよりも小さいインピーダンスを有する保護素子とを備えることを特徴とするものである。
該発光装置と、前記基板が取り付けられる筐体とを備え、電圧印加により前記LEDを灯すことを特徴とするものである。

で表すことができる。寄生容量CPは、通常、10pFから100pFのオーダーである。保護コンデンサのインピーダンスは、発光ダイオードが過大な逆電圧が印加されないように選択される。そのためには、印加される交流電圧の周波数において、保護コンデンサCのインピーダンスが、寄生容量CPのインピーダンスよりも十分小さければよい。すなわち、保護コンデンサの電気容量が、寄生容量CPの電気容量よりも十分大きければよい(例えば、電気容量が1000倍以上あると好ましい)。例えば、図6Aでは、50−60Hzでのインピーダンスが3kΩ程度になるように電気容量が1.0μFの保護コンデンサが使用される。

Claims (6)
- 基板と、
前記基板に実装され、複数のLEDが直列に接続されたLED列と、
前記LED列に直列に接続された電源経路と、
前記LED列内の少なくとも一組のLED間の配線と前記電源経路との間に置かれ、前記配線とアースとの間のインピーダンスよりも小さいインピーダンスを有する保護素子とを備える、発光装置。 - 前記保護素子は、前記LED列の両端のLEDに隣接したそれぞれの前記配線と前記電源経路との間にそれぞれ置かれる、請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記保護素子は、前記LED列内の各LED間の配線と前記電源経路との間にそれぞれ置かれる、請求項1に記載の発光装置。
- 前記保護素子が、コンデンサである、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 前記電源経路が、前記LED列のアノード側電源経路と前記LED列のカソード側電源経路の少なくともいずれかである、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の発光装置と、前記基板が取り付けられる筐体とを備え、電圧印加により前記LEDを灯す灯具。
