Description

c)少なくとも1つのビス(ハロメチル)トリアジン架橋剤と、
d)少なくとも1つの粘着付与剤と、
を含む、硬化性組成物であって、
成分a)の成分b)に対する重量比が15:85〜85:15の範囲である、硬化性組成物を提供する。
e)少なくとも1つのI型光開始剤と、
f)少なくとも1つの多官能性(メタ)アクリレートと、
を更に含む成分を更に含む。
a)少なくとも1つのエチレン−プロピレン−非共役ジエンターポリマーと、
b)少なくとも1つのエチレン−プロピレンコポリマーと、
c)少なくとも1つのビス(ハロメチル)トリアジン架橋剤と、

式中、Rは、トリアジン環に電子的に結合している共役発色団を表し、Xは、Cl又はBrを表す。場合によっては他のハロゲンを用いてもよいが、臭素、特に塩素が最も典型的に用いられる。放射線(例えば、可視光線又は紫外線電磁放射線)により励起される場合、ビス(ハロメチル)トリアジン架橋剤の炭素−ハロゲン結合は開裂して、ハロゲンラジカル及びトリアジン含有ラジカル部分が生じる。光開始剤の更なるハロゲン原子についてこのプロセスが繰り返され得、その結果、硬化性組成物及び/又は感圧性接着剤内で架橋が形成される。
90°剥離接着力試験
90°の角度における剥離接着強度の評価が、ASTM国際規格D3330の方法Fに記載のように、0.5インチ×8インチ(1.3cm×20cm)の試験サンプルで、IMASS SP−2000滑り/剥離試験機(IMASS,Inc.(Accord,MA)から入手可能)を12インチ/分(305mm/分)の剥離速度で使用して行われた。2.0kg(4.5lb)のゴムローラーをテープ上で4回ころがして、サンプルを試験パネルに付着させた。試験パネルは、EPDM、EPDM/PP、PP、SS、及びTPOを含んでいた。制御環境室で特定の滞留時間後に試験パネル上にて剥離試験を実施した。テープをパネルから除去するのに必要な平均剥離接着力を、オンス単位で記録し、3つの複製に基づいてニュートン/デシメートル(N/dm)で表した。
ASTM国際規格D3654の手順Aに記載のように、70℃に設定されたオーブン内部で、1/2インチ×1インチ(1.3cm×2.5cm)の試験サンプル及び500gのおもりを用いて、静的剪断力強度の評価を行った。試験パネルはステンレス鋼(「SS」)であった。破損する迄の時間を、分で記録した。10,000分後に破損が観察されなかった場合、試験を停止し、10,000+分という値を記録した。
EPDMエラストマーを低分子量EPMポリマー(K1200A)とブレンドすることにより接着剤サンプルを調製した。また、接着剤サンプルは、水素添加炭化水素粘着付与剤(ES5400)及び可塑剤(222B)を含んでいた。TRIAZ1、SR454、及びIRG651が硬化剤として含まれていた。接着剤サンプルの組成を表2(以下)に報告する。
表4(以下)に報告する通り組成を変化させて、接着テープ1の手順に従って接着剤サンプル9〜15及びC〜Dを調製した。
用いた硬化剤の量及び硬化条件を変化させたことを除いて、実施例12で用いた手順に従って実施例16〜20を調製した。これらの実施例では、TRIAZ1、PI1、及びSR454の量を、EPDM及びEPMポリマー100部に基づいてそれぞれ0.6部、0.96部、及び10部に増加させた。
また、接着剤サンプル9〜12を多層発泡体テープ構成で評価した。発泡体テープのコア層は、国際公開特許第2007/149851 A1号(Danielsら)28〜30ページに記載の通り調製された厚み914マイクロメートル(36mil)の発泡体シートであった。接着剤サンプル9〜12の接着剤フィルムを、剥離ライナの間に厚み50マイクロメートル(2mil)でコーティングし、実施例1の通り硬化させた。次いで、接着剤を発泡体コアの両側に積層し、得られた発泡体テープの片面を厚み0.08mm(0.003インチ)のアルミ箔裏材に接着させた。得られた接着テープを70℃のオーブンに1時間入れて、層と層とを確実に接着させた。冷却後、発泡体テープのもう一方の側をPP及びTPOパネルに積層し、90°剥離接着力試験に供した。用いた接着剤、並びにPP及びTPO基材に積層された実施例21〜24の接着剤含有発泡体テープの剥離性能を表7に報告する。表7では、「af」は、接着破壊を意味し、「fs」は、発泡体の分離を意味し、「fs/af」は、接着破壊と発泡体の分離との組み合わせを意味する。
接着剤サンプル25〜27を表8に報告する通り配合し、二軸共回転押出成形機ZSK−30(Ramsey,New JerseyのWerner & Pfleiderer Corp.)を用いて押出成形した。押出成形機のバレル温度は、275°F(135℃)に設定した。組成物の全ての成分を、開放口を通して手動で押出成形機に供給した。次いで、押出成形機の出口を閉じた状態で、300rpmのスクリュー速度にて4分間押出成形機内でそれらを混合させた。次いで、スクリュー速度を100rpmに低下させ、押出成形機の出口を開いて、ドロップコーティングダイを介してPEフィルムの下塗りされている側に接着剤をコーティングした。コーティングされた接着剤の厚みは127マイクロメートル(5mil)に制御した。
Claims (17)
- 以下の成分:
a)少なくとも1つのエチレン−プロピレン−(非共役ジエン)ターポリマーと、
b)少なくとも1つのエチレン−プロピレンコポリマーと、
c)少なくとも1つのビス(ハロメチル)トリアジン架橋剤と、
d)少なくとも1つの粘着付与剤と、
を含む、硬化性組成物であって、
成分a)の成分b)に対する重量比が15:85〜85:15の範囲である、硬化性組成物。 - 前記成分が、
e)少なくとも1つのI型光開始剤と、
f)少なくとも1つの多官能性(メタ)アクリレートと、を更に含む、請求項1に記載の硬化性組成物。 - 前記硬化性組成物が、ホットメルト押出可能である、請求項1又は2に記載の硬化性組成物。
- 感圧性接着剤を製造する方法であって、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の硬化性組成物を少なくとも部分的に硬化させることを含む、方法。
- 前記少なくとも部分的硬化が、前記硬化性組成物を化学線に曝露することを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 以下の成分:
a)少なくとも1つのエチレン−プロピレン−非共役ジエンターポリマーと、
b)少なくとも1つのエチレン−プロピレンコポリマーと、
c)少なくとも1つのビス(ハロメチル)トリアジン架橋剤と、
d)少なくとも1つの粘着付与剤と、
を含む成分の少なくとも部分的に架橋された反応生成物を含む、感圧性接着剤であって、
成分a)の成分b)に対する重量比が15:85〜85:15の範囲である、感圧性接着剤。 - 前記成分が、
e)少なくとも1つのI型光開始剤と、
f)少なくとも1つの多官能性(メタ)アクリレートと、
を更に含む、請求項6に記載の感圧性接着剤。 - 成分a)の成分b)に対する重量比が、15:85〜35:65の範囲である、請求項6又は7に記載の感圧性接着剤。
- 成分a)の成分b)に対する重量比が、35:65〜65:35の範囲である、請求項6又は7に記載の感圧性接着剤。
- 成分d)が、成分a)及びb)の合計100重量部当たり50〜150重量部の量で存在する、請求項6〜9のいずれか一項に記載の感圧性接着剤。
- 前記粘着付与剤が、水素添加粘着付与剤を含む、請求項6〜10のいずれか一項に記載の感圧性接着剤。
- 前記硬化性組成物が、ホットメルト押出可能である、請求項6〜11のいずれか一項に記載の感圧性接着剤。
- 基材の第1の主表面に接着される請求項6〜12のいずれか一項に記載の第1の感圧性接着剤を含む、接着物品。
- 前記第1の感圧性接着剤が、前記基材に取り外し可能に接着される、請求項13に記載の接着物品。
- 前記第1の主表面とは反対側の基材の第2の主表面に接着される請求項6〜14のいずれか一項に記載の第2の感圧性接着剤を更に含む、請求項13に記載の接着物品。
- 前記基材が、ポリマーフィルム及び金属箔のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項13〜15のいずれか一項に記載の接着物品。
