Description
)の健康のみでなく、周りの環境にも影響する。類似して、酸素の供給が崩壊し得、無酸素状態が発生し得る;これは最も攻撃的な汚染の期間が高い水温と一緒に起こり、それがさらに酸素レベルを低下させる夏の間に温帯で特に関係がある。DOレベルにおける低下は、汚染生物自身の呼吸活動によってさらに複合され(compounded)得る。魚ケージ及び網(fish cages and netting)上における生物汚染の発生の間接的な影響は、改善コスト;例えば清浄化及び修復を含み、それもまた有害な環境的意味を有し、撹乱の増加を介して家畜をさらに圧迫し得る。発生し得る複雑な汚染共同体は、ある範囲の「有害な」病気及び寄生虫、例えば、「ネットペン肝臓病(netpen liver disease)」、アメーバ性鰓病(amoebic gill disease)、線虫類ヒステロチラシウム・アドンクム(Hysterothylacium aduncum)及びウミジラミ(sea louse)、レペオフテイルス・サルモニス(Lepeophtheirus salmonis)に生息環境を与えることにより、間接的に家畜にさらなる圧迫を引き起こし得る。汚染は「健康と安全」の心配も生み出す可能性があり、すなわち、汚染は扱われる装置の重量及び滑りやすさを増加させ、熱帯では刺したり切ったりする動物との接触の頻度が向上する。汚染の発生の故の病気及び寄生虫における増加は、それらの処置のために用いられるが有害な環境的影響を有する可能性のあるシペルメツリン(cypermethrin)、アザメチフォス(azamethiphos)及びエマメクチンベンゾエート(emamectin benzoate)のような防除性(combatant)化学品の使用を超えて、心配を増加させる。いくつかの予防的な実際的方法(preventative practical procedures)の使用にかかわらず、汚染に対する主な保護方法は、それが船用であっても又は網用であっても、抗汚染ペイントの使用を含む。これらは、典型的にはポリアミド(ナイロン)を含む合成繊維から作られる網に適用される。酸化第一銅の1価形態における銅のみを含有する抗汚染ペイントは、今日ではほとんど養魚産業のみで用いられるペイント技術である。酸化第一銅に基づく抗汚染ペイントは限られた寿命を有する。さらに、そのようなコーティングは水産養殖からの汚染の既知の源であり、養魚場の近くの銅のレベルの向上に責任がある。網洗浄プラントは、銅含有廃水及びスラッジに関係する問題を有する。廃水は特別に処分されねばならず、そのような安全手段は明らかにコストを増加させる。

、コンクリート添加物、掘削用泥(drilling mud’s)、化粧品類、水
性化粧用調製物、製薬学的調製物などのタンク内/カン内保護(in−tank/i
n−can protection)。

にエルミニウス・モデスツス(Elminius modestus)及びベルカ(Verruca)である。
a.1種もしくはそれより多い防汚性化合物の必要な有効量を含有する防汚ペイントを用
いて、該化合物が十分に高レベルで放出されて、保護された表面領域が高汚染性コー
ティングの所望の有効寿命の間、汚染のないままであるようなやり方で、水性構造物
をコーティングするか;
b.さらに、一般的に、優れた抗汚染作用のために、1種もしくはそれより多い防汚性化
合物の必要な有効量を、該化合物の一定の放出により構造物が汚染物に対して保護さ
れるようなやり方で、水性構造物の表面層中に導入するか;
c.あるいはまた、該化合物の防汚的に有効な量を、保護されるべき構造物の周りの水性
環境中に直接放出するか;
d.あるいは該化合物が汚染生物と接触するようになる一般的な他の方法
により、防汚性化合物を汚染生物と接触させることができる。
ル(例えば、酢酸メチルエステル、酢酸エチルエステル、酢酸ブチルエステル、脂肪酸グリセリンエステルなど)ならびにニトリル(例えばアセトニトリルなど)である。これらの溶媒を単独で、又は2種もしくはそれより多い種類の組み合わせにおいて用いることができる。
より短時間内に行われると達成されるであろう。この別の方法は、例えば、活性成分(I)を含んでなる調製物で満たされた少なくとも1つの容器及び活性成分(II)を含んでなる調製物で満たされた少なくとも1つの容器を含んでなる適した1つのパッケージを用いることにより行うことができ得る。従って、本発明は:
− (a)安息香酸第二鉄(I−a)、安息香酸アルミニウム(I−c)、安息香酸バリ
ウム(I−d)及び安息香酸カルシウム(I−e)から選ばれる成分(I)を
含んでなる組成物、ならびに
− (b)成分(II)としてのトラロピリルを含んでなる組成物
を同時又は逐次的使用のための組み合わせとして含有し、ここで該(a)及び(b)は汚染生物に対する相乗効果を与えるそれぞれの割合にある製品も包含し;
但し該製品は本質的に酸化第一銅を含まない。
実験1:毒プレートアッセイ
主化合物の名称: −成分(I−a)としての安息香酸第二鉄
組み合わせパートナーの名称: −成分(II)としてのトラロピリル;
テストモデル: 殺藻剤(algicide):96−ウェルミクロタイタープレート
の各ウェルに、用量系列の濃度の1つにおけるテスト化合物を含有す
る300μlのBG11培地を加える。活発に成長する3週令の藻類
の液体BG11培養物のアリコートを加えることにより、液体淡水無
機培地に接種し、21℃、65%相対湿度、1000Lux 16時
間/日においてインキュベーションする。3週間後に成長を評価する
。
甲殻類:蔓脚類のような甲殻類の海汚染物に関するモデル生物として
、ブラインシュリンプ(brine shrimp)アルテミア・サ
リナ(Artemia salina)を用いる。アルテミア・サリ
ナの嚢子(Great Salt Lake株)を、Probstに
従って空気循環させた人工の海水中で孵化させる。この方法で得られ
る約20個のアルテミア・サリナの二令幼虫を、300μlの同じ人
工の海水培地に加える。培地は下記(「濃度」)で詳細に記載する用
量範囲内でテスト化合物を含有する。動物を25℃における実験室内
でインキュベーションし、1日後に甲殻類の生存を評価する。

評価基準: MIC値を報告する:生物成長の完全な阻止が観察された最低テスト

ある。
Claims (12)
- 汚染生物に対して相乗効果を与えるそれぞれの割合における成分(I)及び成分(II)の組み合わせを含んでなる組成物であって、ここで成分(I)は安息香酸第二鉄(I−a)、安息香酸アルミニウム(I−c)、安息香酸バリウム(I−d)及び安息香酸カルシウム(I−e)から選ばれ、且つ成分(II)としてトラロピリルが選ばれ;但し、本質的に酸化第一銅を含まない組成物。
- 成分(I)が安息香酸第二鉄(I−a)である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 成分(I)が安息香酸アルミニウム(I−c)である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 成分(I)が安息香酸バリウム(I−d)である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 成分(I)が安息香酸カルシウム(I−e)である請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 成分(I)対成分(II)の1つの重量による比が4:1〜1:3である請求項1〜5のいずれかに従う組成物。
- 成分(I)対成分(II)の1つの重量による比が3:1〜1:3である請求項1〜6のいずれかに従う組成物。
- 成分(I)対成分(II)の1つの重量による比が2:1〜1:2である請求項1〜7のいずれかに従う組成物。
- 成分(I)の量が組成物の合計重量に基づいて1重量%〜40重量%の範囲である請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 汚染生物の抑制のための請求項1〜9のいずれかに従う組成物の使用。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれかに従う組成物の防汚有効量の投与又は適用を含む汚染生物に対する材料の保護方法。
- (a)安息香酸第二鉄(I−a)、安息香酸アルミニウム(I−c)、安息香酸バリウム(I−d)及び安息香酸カルシウム(I−e)から選ばれる成分(I)を含んでなる組成物;ならびに
(b)成分(II)としてのトラロピリルを含んでなる組成物
を同時又は逐次的使用のための組み合わせとして含有し、ここで該(a)及び(b)は汚染生物に対する相乗効果を与えるそれぞれの割合にあり;但し本質的に酸化第一銅を含まない製品。
