Claims (20)
- 近位部分と、折り畳み可能な遠位部分と、前記近位部分と前記折り畳み可能な遠位部分を通って延びる管腔と、を有する第1の細長い部材と、
近位端と、遠位端と、前記近位端と前記遠位端の間のチャンバと、を有する第2の細長い部材と、
前記第1の細長い部材の前記管腔内に配置され、前記第1の細長い部材の前記折り畳み可能な遠位部分を、第1の折り畳まれた断面形状から第2の拡張された断面形状へ拡張するように構成された拡張器と、を有し、
前記第2の細長い部材の前記チャンバは、加圧されたとき、前記第1の細長い部材の前記折り畳み可能な遠位部分を、前記第2の拡張された断面形状から第3の折り畳まれた断面形状に折り畳むように構成されている、大動脈内カテーテル。 - 前記第1の細長い部材の前記折り畳み可能な遠位部分の少なくとも一部が前記第2の細長い部材に隣接して配置されている、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1の細長い部材の前記折り畳み可能な遠位部分の少なくとも一部が前記第2の細長い部材の前記チャンバ内に配置されている、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第2の細長い部材の前記遠位端が前記第1の細長い部材の前記折り畳み可能な遠位部分と結合している、請求項3に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第2の細長い部材の前記遠位端が前記第1の細長い部材の遠位端の上に折り畳まれ、かつ前記第1の細長い部材の内部表面に結合されている、請求項4に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第2の細長い部材の前記遠位端が前記第1の細長い部材の遠位端の上に折り畳まれ、かつ前記第1の細長い部材の内側表面と外側表面の間に結合されている、請求項4に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第2の細長い部材の前記近位端が前記第1の細長い部材の近位部分に結合されている、請求項4に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記折り畳み可能な遠位部分が、前記第1の折り畳まれた断面形状にあるときに、1つまたは複数の長手方向の折り畳みを有する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記1つまたは複数の長手方向の折り畳みが、長手方向の折り目を形成する2つの外側縁と2つの内側縁を有する、請求項8に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1の細長い部材が、前記折り畳み可能な遠位部分の少なくとも一部に埋め込まれた展性のある補強体をさらに有する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。

前記第2の細長い部材の前記チャンバの加圧に応答して再形成され、

- 前記拡張器がバルーン拡張器を有する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記第1の細長い部材が前記第1の細長い部材の近位端にシースハブをさらに有し、前記シースハブは前記第2の細長い部材の前記チャンバに作動可能に接続されたポートを有する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記拡張器が前記拡張器の近位端に拡張器ハブを有し、前記拡張器ハブは前記シースハブに取り外し可能に結合されている、請求項15に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記拡張器が、前記第1の細長い部材の遠位縁を覆うように構成された遠位のフェアリングを有する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 管腔を有する第1の細長い部材と、
1つまたは複数の排出口と、前記1つまたは複数の排出口に対して遠位に配置された遠位のバルーンと、を有する第2の細長い部材と、を有し、
前記第2の細長い部材は、前記第1の細長い部材の前記管腔内に配置されるように構成され、
前記遠位のバルーンは、拡張させられると、前記第1の細長い部材の前記管腔内で、前記第1の細長い部材の内側面と前記第2の細長い部材の外側面の間に間隙が生成されるように、前記第1の細長い部材の内側面と封止体を形成するように構成され、前記間隙は前記遠位のバルーンに近接して位置しており、
前記1つまたは複数の排出口は、前記間隙を空にするように構成されている、大動脈内カテーテル。 - 前記第2の細長い部材はハブをさらに有し、前記ハブは第1のポートと第2のポートを有し、前記第1のポートは前記1つまたは複数の排出口に作動可能に接続され、前記第2のポートは前記遠位のバルーンに作動可能に接続されている、請求項18に記載のカテーテル。
