Claims (35)
- カテーテルを案内するようになっている導入シースにおいて、
近位端と、遠位端と、シースチューブを貫通して延びる主管腔とを有する軸方向に細長いシースチューブであって、前記シースチューブの前記遠位端まで延びる前記シースチューブの長さの一部に沿う縮小可能領域を有し、前記縮小可能領域は、縮小可能、拡張可能、かつ再縮小可能である、シースチューブと、
前記シースチューブの前記主管腔内に配置された取り外し可能な拡張器であって、前記拡張器の近位端の外部の圧力源からの加圧に応答して、縮小された領域を拡張するように構成された拡張器と、
前記シースチューブの前記近位端および遠位端の近くを封止する外側シースジャケットと、
前記シースチューブと外側ジャケット層との間に加圧流体を導入する膨張管腔であって、前記シースチューブの前記近位端に近接する部分に動作可能に結合された膨張管腔とを有し、
前記シースチューブと前記外側ジャケット層との間の領域を加圧すると、内側に圧力がかかり、前記シースチューブの前記縮小可能領域が縮小させられる、導入シース。 - 前記外側シースジャケットは非柔軟性の材料を含む、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケットは半柔軟性の材料を含む、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケットは、部分的に非柔軟性の材料を含む、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケットは非柔軟性の材料と半柔軟性の材料との組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケットと内側層との間の領域の加圧または膨張によって、非平坦な径方向外側形状が形成される、請求項5に記載の導入シース。
- 前記非平坦な径方向外側形状は、体腔、器官組織、または空洞内に装置を固定できるようになっている、請求項6に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケットは、加圧されたときに、内側に圧力をかけて前記縮小可能領域に所定の縮小形状を形成するように、前記シースチューブに固定されている、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケットは、前記外側シースジャケットと内側層との間のスペース内にかけられた陰圧に応じて、予め縮小させられたシースチューブの周りに縮小可能である、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケットは、前記縮小可能領域内の内側層が所定の縮小形状に縮小させられる、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記縮小可能領域の再縮小の前に、前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブの前記主管腔内に挿入される閉鎖器をさらに有し、前記閉鎖器は、予め形成された中実で可撓性のロッドを含む、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記縮小可能領域の再縮小の前に、前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブの前記主管腔内に挿入される閉鎖器をさらに有し、前記閉鎖器は、前記縮小可能領域の再縮小時に、前記縮小可能領域に三重に折られたパターンを生成する断面形状を有する、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記縮小可能領域の再縮小の前に、前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブの前記主管腔内に挿入される閉鎖器をさらに有し、前記閉鎖器は、前記縮小可能領域の再縮小時に、前記縮小可能領域にコルクスクリューパターンを生成する断面形状を有する、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記縮小可能領域の再縮小の前に、前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブの前記主管腔内に挿入される閉鎖器をさらに有し、前記閉鎖器は、前記縮小可能領域の再縮小時に、前記縮小可能領域に十字型パターンを生成する断面形状を有する、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記縮小可能領域の再縮小の前に、前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブの前記主管腔内に挿入される閉鎖器をさらに有し、前記閉鎖器は、前記縮小可能領域の再縮小時に、前記縮小可能領域に「C字型」または「U字型」の断面パターンを生成する断面形状を有する、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- 前記縮小可能領域の再縮小の前に、前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブの前記主管腔内に挿入される閉鎖器をさらに有し、前記閉鎖器は、前記縮小可能領域の再縮小時に、前記縮小可能領域に「W字型」の断面パターンを生成する断面形状を有する、請求項1に記載の導入シース。
- カテーテルを案内するようになっている導入シースにおいて、
近位端と、遠位端と、シースチューブを貫通して延びる主管腔とを有する軸方向に細長いシースチューブであって、前記シースチューブの前記遠位端まで延びる前記シースチューブの長さの一部に沿う縮小可能領域を有し、前記縮小可能領域は、縮小可能、拡張可能、かつ再縮小可能であり、かつ前記縮小可能領域が、シースチューブのポリマー層内に挟まれた柔軟な補強部材を含む、シースチューブと、
前記シースチューブの前記主管腔内に配置された取り外し可能な拡張器であって、前記拡張器の近位端の外部の圧力源からの加圧に応答して、縮小された領域を拡張するように構成された拡張器と、
前記シースチューブの前記近位端および遠位端の近くの位置で互いに封止される内側ジャケット層と外側ジャケット層を含み、前記内側および外側のジャケット層の近位部が、前記内側ジャケット層と前記外側ジャケット層との間に加圧流体を導入する膨張管腔に動作可能に連結されている、外側シースジャケットと、を含み、
前記内側ジャケット層と前記外側ジャケット層との間の領域を加圧すると、内側に圧力がかかり、前記シースチューブの前記縮小可能領域が縮小させられる、導入シース。 - 前記外側シースジャケット層は非柔軟性の材料を含む、請求項17に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケット層は半柔軟性の材料を含む、請求項17に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケット層は、部分的に非柔軟性の材料を含む、請求項17に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケット層は非柔軟性の材料と半柔軟性の材料との組み合わせを含む、請求項17に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケット層と前記内側シースジャケット層との間の領域の加圧または膨張によって、非平坦な径方向外側形状が形成される、請求項21に記載の導入シース。
- 前記非平坦な径方向外側形状は、体腔、器官組織、または空洞内に装置を固定できるようになっている、請求項22に記載の導入シース。

- 前記内側シースジャケット層は、少なくとも部分的に内側ポリマーシース層に固定されている、請求項17に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケット層は、前記外側シースジャケット層と前記内側シースジャケット層との間のスペース内にかけられた陰圧に応じて、予め縮小させられたシースチューブの周りに縮小可能である、請求項17に記載の導入シース。
- 前記外側シースジャケット層は、前記縮小可能領域内の内側層が所定の縮小形状に縮小させられる、請求項17に記載の導入シース。
- 前記縮小可能領域の再縮小の前に、前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブの前記主管腔内に挿入される閉鎖器をさらに有し、前記閉鎖器は、予め形成された中実で可撓性のロッドを含む、請求項17に記載の導入シース。

- 患者の体腔または空洞にアクセスするようになっているイントロデューサシースにおいて、
近位端と、遠位端と、シースチューブを貫通して延びる管腔とを有する軸方向に細長いシースチューブであって、前記シースチューブは縮小可能領域を含み、前記縮小可能領域は、最初に縮小可能であり、拡張動作に応答して拡張可能であり、かつ再縮小可能である、シースチューブと、
前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブの前記近位端に固定され、前記シースチューブを貫通して延びる前記管腔に動作可能に連結された止血弁をさらに有するハブと、
前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブ内の前記管腔を通して予め挿入される拡張器であって、ある長さの拡張器チューブと、バルーン膨張ポート、および止血弁を有するガイドワイヤアクセスポートを有するハブと、前記拡張器チューブの周りで収縮させられ折られて最小形状を形成する非柔軟性バルーンと、を有する拡張器と、
前記縮小可能領域が拡張され前記拡張器が取り外された後で、前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブの前記管腔内に取り外し可能に配置することができる逆拡張器であって、近位および遠位バルーンと、前記近位および遠位バルーン用の膨張管腔を有する逆拡張器チューブと、前記逆拡張器チューブの真空ポートによって2つの前記バルーン間の領域に動作可能に連結されている真空管腔と、前記逆拡張器の近位端に固定され、前記逆拡張器の前記膨張管腔に加圧流体を注入または除去し、かつ前記近位バルーンと前記遠位バルーンとの間に真空を生じさせるポートを有するハブと、を有する逆拡張器と、
を有し、
前記拡張器は、前記シースチューブの縮小可能領域を拡張するように動作可能であり、
さらに、前記逆拡張器は、その近位および遠位バルーンが拡張して前記シースチューブの前記管腔を封止し、それによって、前記逆拡張器の前記近位バルーンと前記遠位バルーンとの間が真空に引かれ、前記シースチューブの前記縮小可能部が再縮小させられる、イントロデューサシース。 - 前記拡張器は、取り外し不能であり、前記軸方向に細長いシースチューブの内側と一体である、請求項34に記載のイントロデューサシース。
