Description
a)工具基体を製造する工程であって、工具基体の製造が表面異形成形部の形成を含み、表面異形成形部の形成を好ましくは機械的な加工、特に旋削により実施する、工具基体を製造する工程と、
b)工具基体にコーティングを被着する工程と、

a)工具基体を製造する工程であって、工具基体の製造が、工具基体の表面上への、複数の凸部及び凹部を備える表面異形成形部(Oberflaechen−Profilierung)の形成を含み、凸部を特に半径方向断面で見てウェブ状(stegfoermig)の突出部、好ましくは長方形の突出部として形成し、突出部が、所定の長さにわたって工具の長手方向軸線の方向で延在し、かつ所定の高さにわたって凹部から屹立するようにし、表面異形成形部の形成を好ましくは機械的な加工、特に旋削により実施する、工具基体を製造する工程と、
b)工具基体にコーティングを被着する工程と、
を含む、熱間工具を製造する方法に関する。

Claims (10)
- 熱間工具(1)、特に継目無管を製造するための穿孔マンドレル若しくは圧延ロッド又は金属からなる管状の被加工物を熱間鍛造するための鍛造マンドレルであって、工具基体(2)を備え、該工具基体(2)が少なくとも作業領域(3)にコーティング(4)を有している熱間工具(1)において、
前記工具基体(2)が表面異形成形部(5)を有しており、該表面異形成形部(5)に前記コーティング(4)が被着されていることを特徴とする、熱間工具。 - 前記表面異形成形部(5)は、前記工具(1)の軸線方向(a)で見て少なくとも1つのアンダカットを形成し、特に、複数の凸部(6)及び凹部(7)を前記工具基体(2)の表面に有している、請求項1記載の熱間工具。
- 前記工具基体(2)は鋼からなる、請求項1又は2記載の熱間工具。
- 前記コーティング(4)は、熱的かつ機械的な負荷から保護する層である、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の熱間工具。
- 前記コーティング(4)は、熱化学的なコーティング法により被着されている、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の熱間工具。
- 熱間工具(1)、特に継目無管を製造するための穿孔マンドレル若しくは圧延ロッド又は金属からなる管状の被加工物を熱間鍛造するための鍛造マンドレルを製造する方法であって、
以下の工程、すなわち:
a)工具基体(2)を製造する工程であって、該工具基体(2)の製造が表面異形成形部(5)の形成を含み、該表面異形成形部(5)の形成を好ましくは機械的な加工、特に旋削により実施する、工具基体(2)を製造する工程と、
b)前記工具基体(2)にコーティング(4)を被着する工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする、熱間工具を製造する方法。 - 前記表面異形成形部(5)の形成時、複数の凸部(6)及び凹部(7)を前記工具基体(2)の表面に形成し、前記凸部(6)を特に半径方向断面で見てウェブ状の突出部、好ましくは長方形の突出部として形成し、該突出部が、所定の長さ(B)にわたって前記工具(1)の長手方向軸線(a)の方向で延在し、かつ所定の高さ(D)にわたって前記凹部(7)から屹立するようにする、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記凹部(7)を、請求項6に記載の工程b)における前記コーティング(4)の被着時に、少なくとも前記凸部(6)の高さまで前記コーティング(4)により充填し、好ましくは前記コーティング(4)の表面が前記凸部(6)の高さを越えるようにする、請求項7記載の方法。
- 請求項6に記載の工程a)の後、工程b)の前に、前記工具基体(2)の一部を熱化学的な変換にかけ、該熱化学的な変換が特に酸化鉄、特に好ましくはスケールの形成を含む、請求項6から8までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 請求項6に記載の工程b)における前記コーティング(4)の被着をフレーム溶射、プラズマ溶射又は熱化学的な方法により実施する、請求項6から9までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
