Abstract
Description
[0001]本出願は2009年11月13日に出願された米国特許出願第12/617,950号の優先権を主張するものである。
Claims (20)
- 食品または飲料用の隔室を冷却するための方法であって、
(a)冷却された空気を前記隔室中を第1の空気流方向に送るステップと、
(b)ステップ(a)の後、ファン回転の回転方向を逆にし、冷却された空気を前記隔室中を前記第1の空気流方向と実質的に逆の第2の空気流方向に送るステップと、
(c)ステップ(b)の後、ファン回転の前記回転方向を逆にし、冷却された空気を前記隔室中を前記第1の空気流方向に送るステップと、を含む方法。 - ステップ(a)の後、ステップ(b)を実施する前に一定の時間間隔の間待機するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の空気流方向は前記隔室の底部から前記隔室の上部まで、前記第2の空気流方向は前記隔室の前記上部から前記隔室の前記底部までである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)は、前記隔室中を前記第1の空気流方向に送られる冷却された空気を発生させるために、空気を蒸発器で冷却するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップ(b)は、前記隔室中を前記第2の空気流方向に送られる冷却された空気を発生させるために、空気を前記蒸発器で冷却するステップをさらに含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)は冷却された空気をダクトシステム中を前記第1の空気流方向に送るステップをさらに含み、かつステップ(b)は冷却された空気を前記ダクトシステム中を前記第2の空気流方向に送るステップをさらに含み、前記ダクトシステムは前記隔室に連結される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ダクトシステムは一次分岐および二次分岐を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- ステップ(a)は前記冷却された空気が前記隔室の第2の開口部に入り、前記隔室の第1の開口部から出るように案内するステップを含み、ステップ(b)は前記冷却された空気が前記隔室の前記第1の開口部に入り、前記隔室の前記第2の開口部から出るように案内するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1のチラーポートおよび第2のチラーポートと、順方向設定および逆方向設定を有するファンとを含むエアチラーと、
隔室を画定する貯蔵筐体であって、前記貯蔵筐体は第1の開口部および第2の開口部を有し、前記隔室と前記筐体の前記外部の間に空気が通ることを可能にする、貯蔵筐体と、
前記第1のチラーポートおよび前記第2のチラーポートならびに前記第1の開口部および前記第2の開口部に結合されるダクトシステムと、を含み、
前記ファンが前記順方向設定において動作する場合、冷却された空気は前記第1のチラーポートから前記ダクトシステム内に、第1の空気流方向に流れ、前記ファンが前記逆方向設定において動作する場合、冷却された空気が前記第2のチラーポートから前記ダクトシステム内に、前記第1の空気流方向と実質的に逆の第2の空気流方向に流れる、食品または飲料を冷却するための装置。 - 前記隔室内に配置されたデバイダをさらに備え、前記デバイダは前記隔室を上部分と下部分とに分割し、前記デバイダは冷気が前記上部分と前記下部分の間を流れることを可能にする切欠きを有する、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記貯蔵筐体は上部および底部を有し、前記第1の開口部は前記上部に近接して配置され、前記第2の開口部は前記底部に近接して配置される、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記ダクトシステムは前記第2の開口部に結合される第1の分岐および前記第1の開口部に結合される第2の分岐を含む、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記ファンが前記逆方向設定において動作すると、前記ファンは前記第1の分岐から空気を吸い込む、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記チラーは蒸発器をさらに備え、前記第1の分岐から吸い込まれた前記空気は前記蒸発器により冷却される、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記順方向設定から前記逆方向設定への前記ファンの切り換えを定期的に始動する制御回路をさらに備える、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 筐体と、
冷却された空気を発生させる冷却ユニットであって、前記冷却ユニットは順方向設定および逆方向設定を有するファンを含む、冷却ユニットと、
前記冷却された空気を運搬するダクトシステムと、
少なくとも部分的に前記筐体内に配置される複数のカートであって、前記複数のカートのそれぞれが隔室を含み、前記隔室を前記ダクトシステムに連結する第1の開口部と、前記隔室を前記ダクトシステムに連結する第2の開口部とを有する、複数のカートと、を含み、
前記ファンが順方向設定にある場合、前記冷却された空気は、前記複数のカートのそれぞれの前記第2の開口部から入り、前記複数のカートのそれぞれの前記第1の開口部から出る第1の空気流方向に経路を定められ、前記ファンが逆方向設定にある場合、前記冷却された空気は、前記複数のカートのそれぞれの前記第1の開口部から入り、前記複数のカートのそれぞれの前記第2の開口部から出る前記第1の空気流方向と実質的に逆の第2の空気流方向に経路を定められる、食品または飲料を冷却するためのシステム。 - 前記ファンが前記順方向設定にある時間と前記ファンが前記逆方向設定にある時間の間の時間間隔を制御する制御回路をさらに備える、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記時間の間隔は約2〜30分である、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記エアチラーを出る前記冷却された空気は約31°Fの温度である、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の開口部は各カートの前記上部に近接し、前記第2の開口部は各カートの前記底部に近接する、請求項16に記載のシステム。
