Description

上記課題を解決するために、本発明は以下の手段を採用する。
即ち、本発明に係る掃除空気の水滴分離器汚染防止構造の第１の態様は、過給機とエンジンの掃気ポートとの間を結ぶ空気導管内に、前記過給機側から順に空気冷却器と水滴分離器と掃気トランク室とが設けられ、前記掃気トランク室が前記水滴分離器の上方に向かって延びて前記掃気ポート側に接続されている場合における掃除空気の水滴分離器汚染防止構造であって、前記エンジン停止後に前記掃気ポート側から滴り落ちるドレンオイルが前記水滴分離器に降り掛からないように、前記水滴分離器の上部を前記空気導管内に固定するための上部固定部材を、前記水滴分離器の上面を覆うカバー状に形成するとともに、前記上部固定部材の、前記掃気トランク室側の端部を庇状に延長して前側延長部を形成し、該前側延長部の先端部を、前記上部固定部材の上面の前縁から垂れ下がる形状にしたことを特徴とする。

Claims (1)

  1. 過給機とエンジンの掃気ポートとの間を結ぶ空気導管内に、前記過給機側から順に空気冷却器と水滴分離器と掃気トランク室とが設けられ、
    前記掃気トランク室が前記水滴分離器の上方に向かって延びて前記掃気ポート側に接続されている場合における掃除空気の水滴分離器汚染防止構造であって、
    前記エンジン停止後に前記掃気ポート側から滴り落ちるドレンオイルが前記水滴分離器に降り掛からないように、前記水滴分離器の上部を前記空気導管内に固定するための上部固定部材を、前記水滴分離器の上面を覆うカバー状に形成するとともに、
    前記上部固定部材の、前記掃気トランク室側の端部を庇状に延長して前側延長部を形成し、該前側延長部の先端部を、前記上部固定部材の上面の前縁から垂れ下がる形状にしたことを特徴とする掃除空気の水滴分離器汚染防止構造。
