先ず、仮止め作業後、リニアモータ28を駆動し、可動プラテン12を可動金型16に当接させる。このとき、電磁石49と吸着部51との間に形成されるギャップδ(>0)は所定値δ0以下となり、ギャップ監視スイッチ204がオン状態となる。ギャップδが所定値δ0以下となるよう、リニアモータ28の駆動後または駆動前に、型厚調整装置70を用いて、吸着板22と可動プラテン12との間の距離を調整してよい。
