Abstract

Claims (32)
- 筐体を規定するハウジング、
前記筐体に配置され且つ空洞を規定する回転可能なドラム、
前記空洞と流体で通じる少なくとも1つの開口、
前記少なくとも1つの開口を覆い実質的にそれを通す流体を防ぐように構成される少なくとも1つのドア、
空洞内で空気の温度を上げるように構成される加熱装置、
前記空洞にマイクロ波エネルギーを提供するように構成されるマイクロ装置、
前記空洞に紫外線光を提供するように構成される複数の紫外線光照射装置、及び、
前記空洞に化学物質を配置するように構成される化学物質塗布器を有することを特徴とする物品処理装置。 - 前記ハウジングは、アモルファス・マグネシウム・シリケートファイバーの層を含む請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。
- 前記ドラムを回転するように構成される少なくとも1つのベルトをさらに有する請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの開口は、少なくとも2つの開口を含み、
前記少なくとも2つの開口の1は、前記空洞内に物品を配置することを許可するように構成され、前記少なくとも2つの開口の2は、前記空洞から前記物品を取り除くことを許可するように構成される請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。 - 前記加熱装置は、少なくとも120℃に前記空洞内の空気の温度を上げるように構成される請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。
- 前記加熱装置は、少なくとも130℃に前記空洞内の空気の温度を上げるように構成される請求項5に記載の物品処理装置。
- 前記複数の紫外線光照射装置は、各々が断続的な速度で紫外線光を照射するように構成され、且つ、少なくとも1つは実質的に一定の割合で紫外線光を照射するように構成される一定紫外線光ライトである2つのパルス紫外線光ライトを含む請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。
- 前記複数の紫外線光照射装置は、約190ナノメートル及び2000ナノメートルの間の波長を有する紫外線光を照射するように構成される請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。
- 前記化学物質塗布器は、前記空洞内に前記化学物質のミストを生成するように構成される請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。
- 前記化学物質塗布器は254ナノメートル(10マイクロインチ)のオーダーの直径を有する化学物質の霧化した液滴を生成するように構成される請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。
- 前記化学物質塗布器は、前記空洞内に前記化学物質を注入するように構成される請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのドアを前記ハウジングに外れ止めするように構成される複数の外れ止めをさらに有し、
前記複数の外れ止めが前記少なくとも1つのドアを前記ハウジングに固定していない場合、電気が前記熱処理装置、マイクロ波装置、及び紫外線光照射装置に供給されないように構成される請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。 - 前記複数の外れ止めの1は、機械式外れ止めであり、前記複数の外れ止めの2は、磁石の外れ止めである請求項12に記載の物品処理装置。
- 0.252m3(9立方フィート)未満の体積を有する請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。
- 約110V及び約120Vの間、約50Hz及び約60Hzの間、約20アンペアで動作する電源によって給電されるように構成される請求項1に記載の物品処理装置。
- 請求項1に記載の前記物品処理装置、及び、
前記物品処理装置に電力を出力するように構成される電源を有する車両。 - 少なくとも1つの開口を規定するハウジング、前記少なくとも1つの開口と流体で通じる筐体、前記少なくとも1つの開口を覆うように構成される少なくとも1つのドア、前記筐体内にあり且つ空洞を規定する回転可能なドラムを有する装置内の物品を汚染除去する方法であって、
前記少なくとも1つの開口を介して前記空洞内に物品を配置し、
前記ハウジングに外れ止めされる少なくとも1つのドアを確認し、
前記ドラムを回転し、
前記空洞内の空気を加熱し、
前記空洞にマイクロ波エネルギーを提供し、
複数の紫外線光照射装置から前記空洞に紫外線光を提供し、
前記空洞に化学物質を配置し、
前記少なくとも1つのドアを開け、及び、
前記少なくとも1つのドアを介して前記空洞から物品を取り除くことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つのドアに機械的に外れ止めすることをさらに有する請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのドアに磁石で外れ止めすることをさらに有する請求項17に記載の方法。
- 1分につき約20回転する速度で前記ドラムを回転することをさらに有する請求項17に記載の方法。
- 1分につき約30回転する速度で前記ドラムを回転することをさらに有する請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記空洞内の空気を120℃に上げることをさらに有する請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記空洞内の空気を130℃に上げることをさらに有する請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記空洞内の空気を130℃に上げた後で、前記空洞内に化学物質を配置することをさらに有する請求項23に記載の方法。
- 2.4GHzの周波数、約500及び約1000ワット間の出力電源で、前記空洞にマイクロ波エネルギーを提供することをさらに有する請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の紫外線光照射装置の1から前記空洞にパルス紫外線光を提供し、且つ、
