Description
Claims (14)
- ターボチャージ付き内燃エンジンに連結された排気システムに備えられた排気圧調整器の診断方法であって、
(a)エンジンブレーキを要求するステップと、
(b)エンジンブレーキの要求時に背圧センサによって、前記排気システム内の背圧を測定するステップと、
(c)エンジンブレーキの要求時に過給圧センサによって過給圧を測定するステップと、
(d)欠陥のある圧力調整器又は欠陥のある背圧センサが存在するか否かを判定するために、前記測定された背圧及び前記測定された過給圧を記憶された背圧値及び過給圧値と比較するステップとを含む診断方法。 - 前記方法は、
−前記排気圧調整器とターボユニットとの間に前記背圧センサを配置するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の診断方法。 - 前記方法は、
−ターボユニットの上流側の排気ガスマニホルド内に前記背圧センサを配置するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の診断方法。 - 吸気マニホルド内に前記過給圧センサを配置するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の診断方法。
- 前記方法は、
−ターボユニットの圧縮機と前記内燃エンジンの吸気バルブとの間に前記過給圧センサを配置するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の診断方法。 - (e)欠陥のある圧力調整器又は背圧センサが存在する場合は、オペレータにアラームを発するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の診断方法。
- 前記測定された背圧が所定値未満であり、前記測定された過給圧が所定値未満である場合、前記背圧センサに欠陥がある、請求項1に記載の診断方法。
- 前記測定された背圧が所定値未満であり、前記測定された過給圧が所定値以上である場合、前記圧力調整器に欠陥がある、請求項1に記載の診断方法。
- 前記測定された背圧が所定値以上であり、前記測定された過給圧が所定値以上である場合、前記背圧センサに欠陥がある、請求項1に記載の診断方法。
- 前記測定された背圧が所定値以上であり、前記測定された過給圧が所定値未満である場合、前記圧力調整器に欠陥がある、請求項1に記載の診断方法。
- ターボチャージ付き内燃エンジンに連結された排気システムに備えられた排気圧調整器の診断装置であって、
(a)エンジンブレーキを要求する手段と、
(b)エンジンブレーキの要求時に前記排気圧調整器とターボユニットとの間に配置された背圧センサによって前記排気システム内の背圧を測定する手段と、
(c)エンジンブレーキの要求時に前記吸気マニホルド内に配置された過給圧センサによって前記過給圧を測定する手段と、
(d)欠陥のある圧力調整器又は欠陥のある背圧センサが存在するか否かを判定するために、前記測定された背圧及び前記測定された過給圧を記憶された背圧値及び過給圧値と比較する手段とを備える診断装置。 - 欠陥のある圧力調整器又は欠陥のある背圧センサが存在する場合は、オペレータにアラームを発する手段を更に備える、請求項1に記載の診断装置。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の前記方法を含む車両。
- 請求項7又は8に記載の前記装置を備える車両。
