Abstract
Description
本発明は、生物再生可能(bio−renewable)なフィード(feed)を含有する原料油(feedstock)の触媒的転換に関する。より詳細には本発明は、特定比率のゼオライト対マトリックス表面積を有する希土類含有の接触分解触媒を使用して、生物再生可能なフィードを含有する原料油の流動接触分解法に関する。
流動接触分解(FCC)装置は、高沸騰温度石油ベースの炭化水素原料油を、それらから誘導されるガソリンなどの原料油より低い平均分子量および低い平均沸点を有する、より価値ある炭化水素製品へ転換するために石油産業で使用されている。この転換は通常、炭化水素原料油を触媒粒子の移動床に約427℃から約593℃の間の温度範囲で接触させることにより達成される。FCC装置で処理される最も典型的な炭化水素原料油は石油ベースであり、そして重質ガスオイルを含んでなるが、時には軽質ガスオイルまたは常圧軽油、ナフサ、常圧蒸留残油のような原料油を含んでなり、そしてさらに原油(whloe crude)までもが接触分解にかけられて低沸騰温度炭化水素製品が生成される。
ここで今、特定の希土類を含有するゼオライトベースの流動接触分解(FCC)触媒の使用が、FCC法中に少なくとも1種の生物再生可能フィードを含有する原料油の改善された接触分解を提供することが見いだされた。予期せずに、少なくとも1重量%の希土類を含有し、そして高いゼオライト表面積対マトリックス表面積比を有するY型ゼオライトベースのFCC触媒が、FCC法の間、少なくとも1種の生物再生可能フィード画分を含んでなるフィードの、より低分子量炭化水素への触媒的転換中に、残油選択性に対して改善されたコークスを提供することが分かった。有利なことに、高い比率のゼオライト表面積対マトリックス表面積を有するY型ゼオライトFCC触媒が、FCC条件下で増大した活性を提供して、少なくとも1種の生物再生可能フィードを含有する原料油を、より低分子量分子に接触分解し、そして通例のY型ゼオライトベースのFCC触媒を使用して得られる残油転換およびコークス形成と比較して、一定のコークス形成で増大した残油転換を提供することが分かった。
換Y型ゼオライトを、メソ多孔質範囲の孔を有するマトリックス材料中に含んでなる。好ましくは原料油は炭化水素原料油および少なくとも1種の生物再生可能フィードのブレンドである。
本発明の方法に従い、少なくとも1種の生物再生可能フィード画分を有する原料油を、流動接触分解(FCC)条件下で、主にゼオライト、マトリックスおよび希土類金属酸化物を含んでなり、そしてZ/M比により表されるゼオライト表面積対マトリックス表面積比が少なくとも2である循環する接触分解触媒の成分(inventory)と接触させる。
すなわちBET t−プロットにより測定した時に少なくとも20オングストロームの孔半径を持つ孔を有する材料を示すために使用し(Johnson,J.M.F.L.,J.Cat 52,pgs 425−431(1978))、任意の結合材および/または充填材、例えばクレー等を含む本発明の接触分解触媒を含んでなり、そして典型的には微孔質範囲の孔、すなわちBET t−プロットにより測定した時に20オングストローム未満の孔を有する触媒的に活性なゼオライトを除く。
が好適なクレー成分であるが、修飾カオリン(例えばメタカオリン)のような他のクレーを場合により包含してよいことも意図する。使用する場合、このクレー成分は典型的には触媒組成物の約0〜約70重量%、好ましくは約25〜約60重量%を構成する。
間焼成される。好ましくは触媒粒子は約600℃の温度で約45分間カ焼される。その後、触媒粒子は場合によりイオン交換および/または好ましくは水で洗浄されて、余分なアルカリ金属酸化物および他の任意の可溶性不純物が除去される。洗浄された触媒粒子は通例の技術、例えば濾過によりスラリーから分離され、そして典型的には約100℃〜300℃の温度範囲で乾燥して粒子の水分含量を所望のレベルに下げる。
(i)フィードを熱源と接触させることにより接触分解条件を操作して、接触分解ゾーン、通常は竪管分解ゾーン内で生物再生可能フィードを含有する原料油を接触分解し、分解触媒を再生して分解された生成物およびコークスとストリップ可能な炭化水素を含有する使い尽くされた触媒を含んでなる流出物を生成し;
(ii)流出物を排出し、そして通常は1もしくは複数のサイクロンに分解生成物濃度が高い蒸気相と使い尽くされた触媒を含んでなる固体濃度が高い相に分離し;
(iii)生成物として蒸気相を取り出し、そしてFCC主カラム中およびそれに付随するサイドカラムに生成物を分画して、ガスおよびガソリンを含む液体分解生成物を形成し;
(iv)使い尽くされた触媒を通常は蒸気でストリッピングして触媒から吸蔵炭化水素を除去し、その後、ストリッピングした触媒を触媒再生ゾーンで酸化的に再生して、熱い再生触媒を生成し、次いでこれをさらなる量のフィードを分解するために分解ゾーンに再循環する、
ことを含んでなる。

Claims (17)
- 少なくとも1種の生物再生可能フィードを含んでなる原料油の流動接触分解(FCC)法であって、
少なくとも1種の炭化水素画分および少なくとも1種の生物再生可能フィードを含む原料油を、接触分解触媒とFCC分解条件下で接触させ、ここで該触媒は接触分解活性を有するゼオライト、マトリックスおよび触媒の総重量に基づき少なくとも1重量%の希土類金属酸化物を含んでなり、該触媒は少なくとも2のゼオライト表面積対マトリックス表面積比を有し、そして
分解された炭化水素生成物を提供する、
ことを含んでなる上記方法。 - ゼオライトがフォージャサイトY型ゼオライトである請求項1に記載の方法。
- マトリックスがシリカ、アルミナ、シリカアルミナおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 炭化水素画分が石油ベースの原料油を含んでなる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 炭化水素画分が、ディープカットガスオイル、減圧軽油(VGO)、サーマルオイル、残油、再循環油、ホールトップクルード、タールサンドオイル、シェールオイル、合成燃料、石炭の破壊的水素化に由来する重質炭化水素画分、タール、ピッチ、アスファルト、水素処理原料油およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される石油ベースの原料油である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 生物再生可能画分が、キャノーラ油、コーン油、ダイズ油、ナタネ油、ソイオイル、ナタネ油、ダイズ油、ヤシ油、ナタネ油、ヒマワリ油、麻実油、オリーブ油、亜麻仁油、ココヤシ油、ひまし油、落花生油、からし油、綿実油、非食用獣脂、非食用油、イエロー、ブラウングリース、ラード、鯨油、乳脂、魚油、藻類油、トールオイル、下水汚泥、トールオイルおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される原料油である、請求項1、4または5に記載の方法。
- 非食用油がヤトロファオイルである請求項6に記載の方法。
- ゼオライト表面積対マトリックス表面積が2より大きい請求項1に記載の方法。
- 接触分解触媒を含んでなるゼオライトの表面積が、BET t−plotにより測定した時に20オングストローム未満である請求項1または8に記載の方法。
- 接触分解触媒を含んでなるマトリックスの表面積が、BET t−plotにより測定した時に20オングストロームより大きい請求項1または8に記載の方法。
- 希土類金属酸化物が、原子番号57−71を有するランタニド系列の元素、イットリウムおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される金属の酸化物である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 希土類金属がランタン、セリウムおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される請求項11に記載の方法。
- 希土類金属酸化物が接触分解触媒中に、触媒の総重量に基づき約1〜約10重量%の範
囲の量で存在する請求項1に記載の方法。 - マトリックスがさらにクレーを含んでなる請求項3に記載の方法。
- マトリックスがさらに結合材を含んでなる請求項3または14に記載の方法。
- 結合材がアルミナゾル、シリカゾル、リン酸アルミニウムおよびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される請求項15に記載の方法。
