Description
次の議論においては、バイオ成分原料材とは、生物学的素材物質成分から誘導される炭化水素原料材をいう。植物油脂または動物油脂(魚類および藻類の油脂を含む)などである。この文献の目的に対しては、植物油脂は、一般に、全ての植物ベース物質を指し、これには、ジャトロファ属の植物などの素材から誘導される油脂が含まれることを注目されたい。本発明で用いることができる植物油および動物脂には、主にトリグリセリドおよび遊離脂肪酸(FFA)を含むいかなるものもが含まれる。トリグリセリドおよびFFAは、脂肪族炭化水素鎖(8〜24個の炭素を有する)をその構造中に含む。生物学的素材物質から誘導される他のタイプの原料には、脂肪酸エステル(脂肪酸メチルエステルなど)が含まれる。バイオ成分原料材の例には、限定されることなく、なたね(アブラナ)油、トウモロコシ油、大豆油、ヒマシ油、およびパーム油が含まれる。

- ディーゼル燃料を製造する方法であって、
沸点範囲215゜F〜800゜F(102℃〜427℃)を有し、かつバイオ成分部分を含む原料を、効果的な水素化条件下に水素化して、硫黄含有量50wppm未満および窒素含有量20wppm未満を有する水素化された原料を製造する工程、および
効果的な接触脱ロウ条件下に、前記原料のストリームをZSM−48含有触媒へ曝露することによって、水素化された前記原料のストリームを脱ロウする工程
を含むことを特徴とするディーゼル燃料の製造方法。 - 前記原料は、実質的にバイオ成分の原料ストリームに基づくことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記原料は、本質的にバイオ成分の原料ストリームからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バイオ成分の部分は、少なくとも一種の植物油脂、動物油脂、魚類油脂または藻類油脂を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。

効果的な接触脱ロウ条件下に、前記原料のストリームをZSM−48含有触媒へ曝露することによって、前記ディーゼル範囲原料を脱ロウする工程
を含むことを特徴とするディーゼル燃料の製造方法。 - ディーゼル燃料を製造する方法であって、
