Claims (15)
- 基体(1)と、
第1の電極(2)および第2の電極(9)と、
前記第1の電極(2)と前記第2の電極(9)との間に設けられた少なくとも1つの放射層(5)と、
から構成されている放射装置であって、
前記放射層(5)は、マトリクス材料と、放射材料0.5〜5重量%と、燐光発光性トラップ材料5〜30重量%とを含んでおり、
前記トラップ材料の重量割合は前記放射材料の重量割合よりも大きいものであり、
前記放射層(5)の電流効率は、トラップ材料を含まない放射層の電流効率に対して少なくとも10%高いものであり、
前記トラップ材料は前記放射材料よりも短い波長の最大放射スペクトル波長を有している、
ことを特徴とする放射装置。 - 前記放射材料は燐光発光性放射材料である、
請求項1記載の放射装置。 - 前記電極(2、9)と前記放射層(5)との間には電子輸送層(7)が設けられており、
前記トラップ材料のLUMOは前記電子輸送層(7)のLUMOよりも低い、
請求項1または2記載の放射装置。 - 最大放射スペクトル波長の差は少なくとも15nmである、
請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 前記放射層(5)により放射される放射線は、実質的に前記放射材料によって生成される、
請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 前記放射層(5)における前記トラップ材料の最大放射スペクトルの正規化された放射強度は、前記放射材料の最大放射スペクトルの放射強度の最大10%である、
請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 前記放射層(5)における前記トラップ材料の最大放射スペクトルの正規化された放射強度は、前記マトリクス材料と前記トラップ材料とから成る層における前記トラップ材料の最大放射スペクトルの正規化された放射強度の最大10%である、
請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 前記放射層(5)中の、前記放射材料における励起子の寿命は、前記トラップ材料における励起子の寿命よりも長い、
請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 前記放射層(5)の外部量子効率ηextは、トラップ材料を含まない放射層の外部量子効率に対して少なくとも20%高い、
請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 前記放射材料の燐光発光性量子収率は、トラップ材料の燐光発光性量子収率よりも大きい、
請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 前記放射材料のLUMOは、前記マトリクス材料のLUMOおよび/または前記トラップ材料のLUMOよりも高い、
請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 前記放射層(5)の層の厚さは、10〜40nmである、
請求項1乃至11のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 少なくとも1つの他の放射層を備えている、
請求項1乃至12のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つの他の放射層は、放射材料およびトラップ材料を含んでいる、
請求項1乃至13のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。 - 前記第1の放射層(5)および少なくとも1つの他の放射層によって放射される放射線の重畳により、白色光が放射される、
請求項1乃至14のいずれか1項記載の放射装置。
