Abstract
【解決手段】燃料電池モジュール12は、燃料電池スタック22、原燃料と酸化剤ガスとの混合ガスを改質する部分酸化改質器44、燃料電池スタック22から排出される燃料排ガスと酸化剤排ガスとを燃焼させ、燃焼ガスを発生させる排ガス燃焼器46と、前記燃焼ガスとの熱交換により酸化剤ガスを昇温させる熱交換器48とを備える。燃料電池スタック22の一方に熱交換器48が配設され、且つ前記燃料電池スタック22の他方に部分酸化改質器44及び排ガス燃焼器46が配設されるとともに、前記部分酸化改質器44は、前記排ガス燃焼器46を囲繞して設けられる。

Claims (5)
- 燃料ガスと酸化剤ガスとの電気化学反応により発電する燃料電池を複数積層した燃料電池スタックと、
炭化水素を主体とする原燃料と酸化剤ガスとの混合ガスを改質して前記燃料ガスを生成するとともに、前記燃料電池スタックに前記燃料ガスを供給する部分酸化改質器と、
前記燃料電池スタックから排出される前記燃料ガスである燃料排ガスと前記酸化剤ガスである酸化剤排ガスとを燃焼させ、燃焼ガスを発生させる排ガス燃焼器と、
前記燃焼ガスとの熱交換により前記酸化剤ガスを昇温させるとともに、前記燃料電池スタックに前記酸化剤ガスを供給する熱交換器と、
を備える燃料電池モジュールであって、
前記燃料電池スタックの一方に前記熱交換器が配設され、且つ前記燃料電池スタックの他方に前記部分酸化改質器及び前記排ガス燃焼器が配設されるとともに、
前記部分酸化改質器は、前記排ガス燃焼器を囲繞して設けられることを特徴とする燃料電池モジュール。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池モジュールにおいて、前記熱交換器は、前記燃料電池スタックの燃料電池積層方向一方に配設されるとともに、
前記部分酸化改質器及び前記排ガス燃焼器は、前記燃料電池スタックの燃料電池積層方向他方に配設されることを特徴とする燃料電池モジュール。 - 請求項1又は2記載の燃料電池モジュールにおいて、前記熱交換器は、前記燃料電池スタックの重力方向上部に配設されるとともに、
前記部分酸化改質器及び前記排ガス燃焼器は、前記燃料電池スタックの重力方向下部に配設されることを特徴とする燃料電池モジュール。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池モジュールにおいて、前記排ガス燃焼器から排出される前記燃焼ガスを、前記燃料電池スタック、前記熱交換器及び外部熱機器に、順次、供給するための燃焼ガス管路を備えることを特徴とする燃料電池モジュール。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の燃料電池モジュールにおいて、前記燃料電池モジュールは、固体酸化物形燃料電池モジュールであることを特徴とする燃料電池モジュール。
