Abstract
【解決手段】特に、少なくともコーティングされた磁気金属ナノ粒子、1つの硬化性モノマー、インクの硬化性構成成分の重合を開始する放射線活性化開始剤、ゲル化剤を含む紫外線(UV)硬化性ゲルインクを提供する。インクはまた、任意の着色剤および1つ以上の任意の添加剤を含んでいてもよい。
【効果】これらの硬化性ゲルUVインク組成物は、種々の用途においてインクジェット印刷に使用できる。

Description
1.a.ポリマーコーティングされたナノ粒子:ポリスチレンコーティングされたコバルトナノ粒子は、アルゴン下、160℃にて、4:1(w/w)の比でのホスフィンオキシド基で末端処理されたポリスチレンポリマーおよびアミン末端処理されたポリスチレンの存在下、溶媒としてのジクロロベンゼン中のジコバルトオクタカルボニルの30分間の熱分解によって得られる。反応混合物をヘキサン中に沈殿させ、さらに洗浄して、ポリスチレンコーティングされたコバルトナノ粒子を提供する。製作プロセスは、US2010/0015472A1(Bradshaw)に記載される。
ポリマーコーティングされた磁気粒子を含有するUV硬化性相変化インクを次のように調製する。磁気撹拌棒を備え、ジャケット付加熱マントルに封入された600mLビーカーに、モノマーおよび光開始剤を添加する。混合物を箔で覆い、90℃まで加熱しながら撹拌する。次いで、アミドゲル化剤およびワックスを添加し、混合物が均質になるまで撹拌を継続する。この透明インクベースを圧力下、加熱された1μmフィルターを通してろ過する。ろ過されたインクベースを、90℃に加熱されたジャケット付加熱マントル内に封入された別の600mLビーカーに移し、ホモジナイザーを含浸させる。ポリマーコーティングされた磁気ナノ粒子分散液濃縮物の15%分散液を、均質化中にインクベースに添加し、この混合物を40分間ブレンドする。次いでインクは、加熱された1μmのフィルターを圧力下で通して再びろ過し、最終インクを得る。
米国特許第7,714,040号明細書(その開示が参考として本明細書に完全に組み込まれる)のインク実施例Aに開示されるものと同じゲル化剤および本実施形態に従うワックスを含有するインク組成物を表2に記載する。
本実施形態に従うゲル化剤およびワックスを含まないインク組成物を表3に記載する。
予測実施例または2からのインクの液滴をピペットを用いて紙の上に堆積させる。インクコーティングされた紙を、水銀D−バルブを備えた600W Fusion UV Systems,IncのLighthammerランプ下に32フィート/分のベルト速度にて通すことによって液滴を硬化させた。薄いスキン層が、液滴表面に視覚可能であり、硬化が行われたことを示す。
Claims (10)
- モノマー、
光開始剤、
任意の硬化性オリゴマー、および
1つ以上の任意の添加剤
を含む硬化性インクキャリア;
磁気金属コアおよびこの磁気金属コアに配置された保護コーティングを含むコーティングされた磁気ナノ粒子であって、この保護コーティングがポリマー材料を含むナノ粒子;および
任意の着色剤
を含むインク。 - 前記磁気金属コアが、Fe、Mn、Co、Ni、FePt、CoPt、MnAl、MnBiおよびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のインク。
- 前記ポリマー材料が、非晶質ホモポリマーおよびコポリマー、結晶性ホモポリマーおよびコポリマー、約500ダルトン〜約5000ダルトンのMwおよび約100〜5000のMnを有するポリマーおよびオリゴマー、約5000Da〜約1,000,000ダルトンのMwおよび約1000〜約1,000,000のMnを有するポリマーおよびオリゴマー、およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のインク。
- 前記保護コーティングが、アミド、アミン、カルボン酸、ホスフィンオキシド、カルボン酸エステル、アルコール、チオールおよびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される官能基で末端処理されたポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載のインク。
- 前記保護コーティングが約0.2nm〜約100nmの厚さを有する、請求項1に記載のインク。
- 前記磁気ナノ粒子が、約20emu/グラム〜約100emu/グラムの残留力を有する、請求項1に記載のインク。
- 前記磁気ナノ粒子が、約200エルステッド〜約50,000エルステッドの保磁力を有する、請求項1に記載のインク。
- 前記磁気ナノ粒子が、約20emu/グラム〜約150emu/グラムの磁気飽和モーメントを有する、請求項1に記載のインク。
- 前記磁気金属コアが、約3:2〜約10:1のアスペクト比を有するニードル様形状を有する、請求項1に記載のインク。
- モノマー、
光開始剤、
任意の硬化性オリゴマー、および
1つ以上の任意の添加剤
を含む硬化性インクキャリア;
磁気金属コアおよびこの磁気金属コアに配置された保護コーティングを含むコーティングされた磁気ナノ粒子であって、この保護コーティングがポリマー材料を含む粒子;
ゲル化剤;および
任意の着色剤
を含むインクであって、このゲル化剤が、(a)次の一般構造を有するポリアミド:
(b)硬化性アミドゲル化剤;
(c)エステル末端処理されたジアミド化合物;および
(d)トランス−1,2−シクロヘキサン−ビス(尿素−ウレタン)化合物
からなる群から選択されるインク。
