Abstract

Description
Claims (18)
- 組織内照射焼灼領域の調整のための位相アンテナアレイの調整方法であって、
組織に隣接して配置された位相アンテナアレイによる組織領域内へのエネルギー伝達を受ける前記組織領域を表わす超音波トランスデューサアレイから取得したデータを用いて超音波画像を表示する工程と、
組織内照射焼灼領域を調整するために、前記位相アンテナアレイの放射ビームを選択的に誘導するように前記位相アンテナアレイを調整する工程と、
を含む方法。 - 超音波画像を表示する前記工程は、
画像を表示するのに適した少なくとも1つのスクリーンを用意する工程と、
前記少なくとも1つのスクリーンに前記超音波画像を表示する工程と、
を含む、請求項1に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。 - 超音波画像を表示する前記工程は、
前記超音波トランスデューサアレイによって取得されたデータを超音波画像化システムに出力する工程と、
前記超音波画像化システムからの超音波画像を少なくとも1つのスクリーンに出力する工程と、
をさらに含む、請求項2に組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。 - 前記位相アンテナアレイは、電気外科手術用電力発生源に動作可能に接続されている、請求項1に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
- 前記位相アンテナアレイは複数の放射素子を含む、請求項4に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
- 前記位相アンテナアレイはユーザインタフェースおよび処理装置に動作可能に接続されており、前記ユーザインタフェースはポインティングデバイスを含む、請求項5に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
- 前記位相アンテナアレイを調整する前記工程は、使用者が行った前記ポインティングデバイスの移動に応答して前記ユーザインタフェースから出力されかつ前記処理装置によって受信された少なくとも1つの電気信号を使用して、前記複数の放射素子の移相を決定する工程を含む、請求項6に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
- 位相アンテナアレイを含む手持ち式装置内に含まれた超音波トランスデューサアレイを作動させて、前記組織に隣接して配置された位相アンテナアレイによる組織領域内へのエネルギー伝達を受ける前記組織領域を表わす超音波画像データを取得する工程と、
組織内のエネルギー伝達焦点を選択的に誘導して組織内照射焼灼領域を調整するために、前記位相アンテナアレイを調整する工程と、
を含む、組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。 - 前記手持ち式装置の組織接触面は、超音波透過窓を画定する第1の領域を含む、請求項8に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
- 前記超音波トランスデューサアレイは、前記超音波透過窓に動作可能に関連づけられている、請求項9に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
- 前記超音波トランスデューサアレイを作動させる前記工程は、
前記超音波透過窓を通して超音波エネルギーを導く工程と、
前記超音波透過窓を通して超音波エネルギーを受信する工程と、
を含む、請求項1に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。 - 前記組織接触面は、マイクロ波透過窓を画定する第2の領域をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
- 前記位相アンテナアレイは、前記マイクロ波透過窓に動作可能に関連づけられている、請求項12に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
- 組織内照射焼灼領域を調整するために位相アンテナアレイを調整する方法であって、
超音波トランスデューサアレイを作動させて、組織領域内に気泡場を生成する工程と、
位相アンテナアレイに隣接する前記組織領域を表わす前記超音波トランスデューサアレイから取得したデータを用いて超音波画像を表示する工程と、
組織内照射焼灼領域を調整するために、前記気泡場の観察に基づいて前記位相アンテナアレイの放射ビームを選択的に誘導するように前記位相アンテナアレイを調整する工程と、
を含む方法。 - 前記気泡場としては極微小気泡の雲が挙げられる、請求項14に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
- 超音波画像中に目視で前記気泡場を観察することができる、請求項14に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
- 超音波画像を表示する前記工程は、
前記超音波トランスデューサアレイによって取得されたデータを超音波画像化システムに出力する工程と、
前記超音波画像化システムからの超音波画像をスクリーンに出力する工程と、
を含み、
前記スクリーンに表示された前記超音波画像中に前記気泡場を目視により観察することができる、請求項14に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。 - 前記気泡場の観察は、前記気泡場の時間的展開および空間分布の観察を含む、請求項14に記載の組織内照射焼灼領域の調整方法。
