Abstract
【解決手段】燃料電池システム1の制御部11は、燃料流量計16からの値を補正することによって、空気と水素含有燃料を含む燃料の流量を正確に取得することができる。また、制御部11は、酸素または窒素を検出するセンサー17の検出結果に基づいて、燃料に含まれる空気の量を演算することができる。従って、水素発生部4に供給される燃料に空気が含まれていた場合に、燃料電池システム1は、燃料中の水素含有燃料にどの程度の空気が混合されているかを把握することができる。制御部11は、燃料中の空気の混合量に応じて、水素発生部4に供給される燃料の量を適切に調整することが可能となる。

第一制御例は、水素発生部4に供給される水素含有燃料の流量(すなわち、空気混合燃料の流量から空気の流量を除いたもの)が、燃料電池システム1の制御に必要とされる水素含有燃料の流量に一致するようにする制御である。
制御開始時においては、水素含有燃料供給部7への流量指示値(Finit)として、前回処理にて設定されていた指示値が設定されている。ただし、初回処理時は、任意の指示値が設定される。また、制御開始時における燃料電池システム1の状態に応じて、燃料電池システム1の制御に必要とされる水素含有燃料流量(g)が設定される。また、制御開始時における燃料流量計16の流量測定結果(finit)が取得される。このfinitは、誤差を含む値である。
センサー17によって、燃料中の酸素濃度が測定される。
燃料中の酸素濃度に基づいて、燃料流量計16の流量測定結果に含まれる誤差(e)が決定される。また、誤差を調整するために、式(1)によって燃料流量計16の流量測定結果の補正がなされ、補正された流量測定結果(f’init)が取得される。
S20終了時における燃料流量計16の補正された流量測定結果(f’S20)に基づいて、S20終了時における燃料中の空気の実質流量(aS20)及び水素含有燃料の実質流量(gS20)が、式(3)及び式(4)に基づいて演算される。
S20終了時における燃料中の空気の実質流量(aS20)から、S20終了時における燃料中の水素含有燃料の実質流量(gS20)が除算される。
S40にて求められた値が、一定値以上であるかの判定がなされる。一定値以上であった場合、システムが停止される。
燃料電池システム1の制御に必要とされる流量(g)の水素含有燃料が供給されるように、水素含有燃料供給部7への流量指示値(Fadj)が、式(8)に基づいて調整される。式(8)は、式(5)〜式(7)に示す演算を経て導き出される。燃料流量計16の補正された流量測定結果は、正しい流量を示しているため、水素含有燃料供給部7は、流量指示値(Fadj)に従った流量の燃料を正確に供給することができる。
第二制御例は、第一制御例と同様に、水素発生部4に供給される水素含有燃料の流量(すなわち、空気混合燃料の流量から空気の流量を除いたもの)が、燃料電池システム1の制御に必要とされる水素含有燃料の流量に一致するようにする制御である。第二制御例は、S20の時点では水素含有燃料供給部7の調整を行わず、S60で一度に調整を行っている点で第一制御例と相違している。
第一制御例における「スタート時」の制御と同様である。

燃料中の酸素濃度に基づいて、燃料流量計16の流量測定結果に含まれる誤差(e)が決定される。また、誤差を調整するために、式(9)によって燃料流量計16の流量測定結果の補正がなされ、補正された流量測定結果(f’init)が取得される。
第一制御例と同様に、S20終了時における燃料中の空気の実質流量(aS20)及び水素含有燃料の実質流量(gS20)が、式(12)及び式(13)に基づいて演算される。
第一制御例における「ステップS40」の制御と同様である。
第一制御例における「ステップS50・S70」の制御と同様である。
第一制御例と同様に、燃料電池システム1の制御に必要とされる流量(g)の水素含有燃料が供給されるように、水素含有燃料供給部7への流量指示値(Fadj)が、式(17)に基づいて調整される。式(17)は、式(14)〜式(16)に示す演算を経て導き出される。燃料流量計16の補正された流量測定結果は、正しい流量を示しているため、水素含有燃料供給部7は、流量指示値(Fadj)に従った流量の燃料を正確に供給することができる。
第三制御例は、燃料中の酸素を消費するための水素含有燃料を考慮し、当該酸素を消費するための分量を除いた水素含有燃料の流量を、燃料電池システム1の制御に必要とされる水素含有燃料流量(g)に一致させる場合の制御例である。
第一制御例または第二制御例における「スタート時」〜「ステップS50・S70」の制御と同様である。
水素含有燃料と酸素との燃焼反応は、式(18)で示される。
Claims (5)
- 水素含有燃料を含む燃料を用いて水素含有ガスを発生させる水素発生部と、
前記水素含有ガスを用いて発電を行うセルスタックと、を備える燃料電池システムであって、
前記水素発生部に対して供給される前記燃料の供給量を取得する供給量取得部と、
前記水素発生部の上流側において、前記燃料の中の酸素または窒素を検出する検出部と、
前記検出部の検出結果に基づいて、前記供給量取得部からの値が含む誤差を補正し、前記空気を含んだ前記燃料の供給量を取得する補正部と、
前記検出部の検出結果に基づいて、前記燃料に含まれる空気の量を演算する演算部と、
を備えることを特徴とする燃料電池システム。 - 前記燃料に含まれる前記空気の量に基づいて、前記燃料の供給量を調整する調整部を更に備え、
前記調整部は、前記燃料に前記空気が含まれることによって減少する前記水素含有燃料の量を考慮して、調整を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池システム。 - 前記燃料に含まれる前記空気の量に基づいて、前記燃料の供給量を調整する調整部を更に備え、
前記調整部は、前記燃料の中の酸素の消費に要する前記水素含有燃料の量を考慮して、調整を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池システム。 - 前記燃料に含まれる空気の量に応じて、燃料供給異常を検出する異常検出部を更に備え、
前記異常検出部は燃料供給異常を検出した場合に、システム停止を行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか一項記載の燃料電池システム。 - 前記異常検出部が、前記補正部および前記演算部により得られる燃料流量に対する空気流量比を判定し、当該比率が所定の閾値を超えた場合に、燃料供給異常を検出することを特徴とする請求項4記載の燃料電池システム。
