Abstract
【解決手段】燃料分離装置25は、高オクタン価燃料の濃度が所定の上限値以下となる第1燃料を混合燃料から分離し得る能力の装置として構成される。その上限値は、第1燃料用の燃料噴射弁24aの燃料噴射量が下限噴射量となる状態を含む運転モードでの内燃機関1の運転を、燃料分離装置25により得られた第1燃料及び第2燃料を使用して行なった場合に実測される高オクタン価燃料の消費量が、上記運転モードでの内燃機関1の運転を、高オクタン価燃料の濃度がそれぞれ100%、0%である第1燃料及び第2燃料を使用して行なった場合に実測される高オクタン価燃料の消費量よりも所定量以上少なくなるように設定されている。

Description
前記燃料分離装置は、前記高オクタン価燃料の濃度が所定の上限値以下となる前記第1燃料を前記混合燃料から分離し得る能力の装置として構成されており、
前記所定の上限値は、前記第1燃料噴射弁の燃料噴射量が前記下限噴射量となる内燃機関の運転状態を少なくとも含むあらかじめ定められた運転モードでの該内燃機関の運転を、前記燃料分離装置により得られた第1燃料及び第2燃料を使用して行なった場合に実測される前記高オクタン価燃料の消費量である第1高オクタン価燃料消費量が、前記運転モードでの内燃機関の運転を、前記高オクタン価燃料の濃度がそれぞれ100%、0%である前記第1燃料及び第2燃料を使用して行なった場合に実測される前記高オクタン価燃料の消費量である第2高オクタン価燃料消費量よりも所定量以上少なくなるように設定されていることを特徴とする(第1発明)。
Claims (6)
- 高オクタン価燃料と該高オクタン価燃料よりもオクタン価が低い低オクタン価燃料との混合燃料を、該混合燃料よりも前記高オクタン価燃料の濃度が高い第1燃料と該混合燃料よりも前記高オクタン価燃料の濃度が低い第2燃料とに分離する燃料分離装置と、前記第1燃料及び第2燃料の少なくとも一方を燃焼室で燃焼させることにより運転を行う内燃機関と、前記燃料分離装置により分離された第1燃料及び第2燃料が供給され、前記内燃機関の燃焼室で燃焼させる第1燃料と第2燃料とをそれぞれ所定の下限噴射量以上の燃料噴射量で各別に噴射する第1燃料噴射弁及び第2燃料噴射弁と、前記内燃機関の燃焼室に供給する燃料中の前記高オクタン価燃料の供給量の割合である高オクタン価燃料供給割合の目標値を規定する燃料供給割合パラメータを少なくとも前記内燃機関の出力トルクに応じて変化させるように可変的に設定し、その設定した燃料供給割合パラメータに応じて前記第1燃料噴射弁及び第2燃料噴射弁のそれぞれの燃料噴射量を制御する燃料供給制御手段とを備えた内燃機関の運転システムであって、
前記燃料分離装置は、前記高オクタン価燃料の濃度が所定の上限値以下となる前記第1燃料を前記混合燃料から分離し得る能力の装置として構成されており、
前記所定の上限値は、前記第1燃料噴射弁の燃料噴射量が前記下限噴射量となる内燃機関の運転状態を少なくとも含むあらかじめ定められた運転モードでの該内燃機関の運転を、前記燃料分離装置により得られた第1燃料及び第2燃料を使用して行なった場合に実測される前記高オクタン価燃料の消費量である第1高オクタン価燃料消費量が、前記運転モードでの内燃機関の運転を、前記高オクタン価燃料の濃度がそれぞれ100%、0%である前記第1燃料及び第2燃料を使用して行なった場合に実測される前記高オクタン価燃料の消費量である第2高オクタン価燃料消費量よりも所定量以上少なくなるように設定されていることを特徴とする内燃機関の運転システム。 - 請求項1記載の内燃機関の運転システムにおいて、
前記第1燃料を噴射する第1燃料噴射弁は、前記内燃機関の燃焼室に直接的に前記第1燃料を噴射する直噴型の燃料噴射弁であり、前記第2燃料を噴射する第2燃料噴射弁は、前記内燃機関の燃焼室の吸気ポートを介して該燃焼室に前記第2燃料を噴射するポート噴射型の燃料噴射弁であることを特徴とする内燃機関の運転システム。 - 請求項1又は2記載の内燃機関の運転システムにおいて、
前記所定の上限値は、前記第1高オクタン価燃料消費量が、前記第2高オクタン価燃料消費量の90%以下の値となるように設定されていることを特徴とする内燃機関の運転システム。 - 請求項3記載の内燃機関の運転システムにおいて、
前記所定の上限値は、75%であることを特徴とする内燃機関の運転システム。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の運転システムにおいて、
前記燃料分離装置は、前記高オクタン燃料の濃度が前記所定の上限値以下となると共に、所定の下限値以上となる前記第1燃料を前記混合燃料から分離し得る能力の装置として構成されており、
前記所定の下限値は、前記内燃機関の燃焼室に供給する燃料として、前記高オクタン価燃料の濃度を該所定の下限値に一致させた第1燃料だけを使用して該内燃機関の運転を行った場合に実現される該内燃機関の出力トルクの最大値があらかじめ設定された所定のトルク値以上となるように設定されていることを特徴とする内燃機関の運転システム。 - 請求項5記載の内燃機関の運転システムにおいて、
前記所定のトルク値は、前記高オクタン価燃料の濃度が100%である第1燃料だけを使用して前記内燃機関の運転を行った場合に実現される該内燃機関の出力トルクの最大値の95%の大きさのトルク値であることを特徴とする内燃機関の運転システム。
