【解決手段】点火プラグを備え、点火プラグに接続される点火コイルを介して印加される高電圧により生じる火花放電時に生成される生成物と電界生成手段により点火プラグを介して燃焼室内に生成される電界とを反応させてプラズマを生成して混合気に着火する火花点火式内燃機関の火花点火制御方法であって、電界を、正極性の脈流により生成する。
