Abstract
【解決手段】組立式のエンジン用シャフトのジャーナル軸5の外径面に配置された転がり軸受4を、一体型の内輪4a、8aと外輪4c、8cの間に、保持器4d、8d付きのころ4b、8bを収容した一体型転がり軸受によって構成し、内輪4a、8a、外輪4c、8c、ころ4b、8bのうちの少なくとも一つの部材を、窒素富化層を有する部材で構成し、耐久性を向上させた。

Description
この発明に係る組立式のエンジン用シャフトとしては、クランクウェブ、クランクピン及びクランクジャーナルを分割した組立式のクランクシャフトの他、エンジンの可変動弁機構のコントロールシャフト、カムシャフト、バランサ装置のバランスシャフトなどがある。
図1は、この発明に係る組立式のエンジン用シャフトの実施形態である直列4気筒用のクランクシャフトの組立後の状態を示している。
なお、オーステナイト結晶粒は、窒素富化層が存在する表層部でも、それより内側の内部でも変化しない。したがって、上記の結晶粒度番号の範囲の対象となる位置は、表層部および内部とする。
コントロールシャフト11は、ニードル軸受12によって支持されたジャーナル部13に、コントロールカム14を設けたものである。
ニードル軸受12は、内輪12a、保持器12d付きのころ12b、鍔付の外輪12cからなる。
カムシャフト15は、ニードル軸受16によって支持されたジャーナル部17に、動弁カム18を設けたものである。
ニードル軸受16は、内輪16a、保持器16d付きのころ16b、鍔付の外輪16cからなる。
ニードル軸受20は、内輪20a、保持器20d付きのころ20b、鍔付の外輪20cからなる。

Claims (13)
- 一体型の内輪と外輪の間に、保持器と転動体を収容した一体型転がり軸受が配置され、内輪、外輪、転動体は、鋼製で、その少なくとも一つが、窒素富化層を有する部材で構成されている組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- クランクウェブ、クランクピン及びクランクジャーナルを分割した組立式のクランクシャフトである請求項1の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- エンジンの可変動弁機構のコントロールシャフトである請求項1の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- エンジンの可変動弁機構のカムシャフトである請求項1の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- エンジンのバランサ装置のバランスシャフトである請求項1の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- 前記窒素富化層は、オーステナイト結晶粒度の粒度番号が10番を超え、かつ、残留オーステナイト量が11体積%以上25体積%以下であって、かつ、窒素含有量が0.1重量%以上0.5重量%以下であって、かつ、表面硬度がHRC58(Hv653)以上である、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- 前記転がり軸受の外輪が、コンロッドの大端部の内径面に直接形成されている請求項2記載のエンジン用シャフト。
- 前記転がり軸受の内輪が、クランクピンとクランクジャーナルの外面に圧入されている請求項2記載の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- 前記転がり軸受の内輪を圧入するクランクピンとクランクジャーナルが鋳鉄製である請求項9記載の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- 4サイクル2気筒以上のエンジンに使用する請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- 前記転がり軸受が、ニードル軸受又は円筒ころ軸受である請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- 前記ニードル軸受又は円筒ころ軸受の外輪が鍔付きであることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
- 前記転がり軸受が、玉軸受である請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の組立式のエンジン用シャフト。
