Abstract
【解決手段】排気系5と吸気系1とを接続する外部EGR通路61上にEGRバルブ62を設けてなるEGR装置6が付帯した内燃機関に対し、所定の燃料カット条件が成立したことを条件として燃料供給を一時的に停止する燃料カットを実施するとともに、燃料カット中に、設定される最大開度と最小開度との間でEGRバルブ62を強制的に開閉操作するクリーニング処理を実行するものにおいて、クリーニング処理の実行開始からの経過時間が比較的短いときの前記最大開度を、同経過時間が比較的長いときの前記最大開度よりも小さく設定するようにした。

Claims (1)
- 排気系と吸気系とを接続する外部EGR通路上にEGRバルブを設けてなる排気ガス再循環装置が付帯した内燃機関に対し、所定の燃料カット条件が成立したことを条件として燃料供給を一時的に停止する燃料カットを実施するとともに、
燃料カット中に、設定される最大開度と最小開度との間で前記EGRバルブを強制的に開閉操作するクリーニング処理を実行するものであって、
前記クリーニング処理の実行開始からの経過時間が比較的短いときの前記最大開度が、同経過時間が比較的長いときの前記最大開度よりも小さく設定されていることを特徴とする制御装置。
