Abstract
Description
WO2005/066488号において、いわゆるレーザ点火装置が公知である。この公知のレーザ点火装置は、内燃機関の燃焼室に突入する点火レーザを備える。点火レーザは、ライトガイドを介してポンピング光源により光学的にポンピングされる。
本発明の課題は、さらに改善された寿命及び信頼性を有する点火レーザを提供することである。
Claims (7)
- 内燃機関(10)のためのレーザ点火装置であって、レーザ活性の固体(44)と、燃焼室窓(58)と、インナースリーブ(62)及びアウタースリーブ(64)を備えるハウジング(38)とを備え、前記インナースリーブ(62)及び前記アウタースリーブ(64)が中間室(65)を画成する形式のものにおいて、前記ハウジング(38)が圧力補償装置(67)を備え、該圧力補償装置(67,73)が前記中間室(65)及び周囲を互いに接続することを特徴とする、内燃機関のためのレーザ点火装置。
- 前記アウタースリーブ(64)内に圧力補償孔(67)が設けられており、該圧力補償孔(67)が前記燃焼室窓(58)に対して間隔を置いて前記ハウジング(38)から開口する、請求項1記載のレーザ点火装置。
- 前記圧力補償孔(67)が、前記ハウジング(38)からの開口部に最小の直径を有し、かつ該直径が、前記中間室(65)に向かって増大する、請求項1又は2記載のレーザ点火装置。
- 前記圧力補償孔(67)内にフィルタエレメント(71)が設けられている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載のレーザ点火装置。
- 前記圧力補償孔(67)が栓体(69)、特にポリイミド又はシリコーンからなる栓体(69)により閉鎖されている、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載のレーザ点火装置。
- 前記アウタースリーブ(64)が、燃焼室(14)側の端部に段部(66)を有しており、該段部(66)が、前記燃焼室窓(58)に部分的にオーバラップする、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載のレーザ点火装置。
- 前記アウタースリーブ(64)が、燃焼室(14)とは反対側の端部にナット状ねじ山を備え、前記インナースリーブ(62)が、前記アウタースリーブ(64)のナット状ねじ山と協働するボルト状ねじ山を備え、前記ナット状ねじ山及び/又は前記ボルト状ねじ山に放圧溝(73)が形成されている、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項記載のレーザ点火装置。
