前記少なくとも1つディテクタと関連付けられ、そこから出力を受信するための、およびそれらのエミッタを駆動する少なくともそれらの変調関数と前記出力を相関させるための相関手段であって、前記少なくとも1つディテクタが光学エネルギーを受信するように配置され、それにより、前記エミッタの各々から前記少なくとも1つディテクタに入射するエネルギーの量を判断する、相関手段と、

Claims (11)
- 複数の光学エミッタおよび複数の光学ディテクタであって、その間に光路の領域を規定し、前記領域の近傍で生じる光学的相互作用によってエミッタとディテクタの間のエネルギーの伝達を変調することができ、前記ディテクタのうち少なくとも1つが、前記光学エミッタのうち2つ以上から光学エネルギーを受信するように配置される、複数の光学エミッタおよび複数の光学ディテクタと、
異なる変調関数を用いて各エミッタを変調する変調スキームに従って、複数の前記光学エミッタを同時に駆動させるための駆動回路であって、前記関数が互いに対して直交する、駆動回路と、
前記少なくとも1つディテクタと関連付けられ、そこから出力を受信するための、および前記エミッタを駆動する少なくともそれらの変調関数と前記出力を相関させるための相関手段であって、前記少なくとも1つディテクタが光学エネルギーを受信するように配置され、それにより、前記エミッタの各々から前記少なくとも1つディテクタに入射するエネルギーの量を判断する、相関手段と、
を備える光学制御システム。 - 前記変調スキームを保存するためのメモリをさらに備え、前記メモリが前記駆動回路にアクセス可能である、請求項1に記載される光学制御システム。
- 前記変調関数が、前記変調スキームによる任意の所与の時点においてアクティブなエミッタの数が所定の最大値よりも下になることを保証するように選択される、請求項2に記載される光学制御システム。
- 前記変調関数が、N個の状態のシーケンスを通じて前記複数のエミッタを駆動するための長さNの直交関数の最適なセットとして選択され、前記セットが、N個の状態の前記シーケンスの間にアクティブエミッタの最小の可能な同時数を提供するために最適化される、請求項3に記載される光学制御システム。
- 前記駆動回路が、連続するエミッタのアクティブ化のタイミングを非周期周波数まで変動させるための可変タイミング機構をさらに備える、請求項1に記載される光学制御システム。
- ディテクタ出力サンプルの前記受信が、さらに、前記可変タイミング機構によって提供された前記変動したタイミングに従って時間が定められる、請求項5に記載される光学制御システム。
- アクティブ化の前または後のノイズレベルを判断するために、1つまたは複数の関連付けられたエミッタがアクティブ化する前および後に前記ディテクタ出力をサンプリングするための、かつ、前記1つまたは複数の関連付けられたエミッタから入射する前記エネルギーを判断するために、前記ディテクタをサンプリングする前記アクティブ化中の時点でノイズ値を補間するためのノイズ検出機構をさらに備える、前記請求項のいずれかに記載される光学制御システム。
- 前記ノイズ検出機構が、前記エミッタの各々の活性化の前に、前記ディテクタ出力をサンプリングするように動作可能であり、前記補間が、2つの連続する活性化の前に前記サンプル間で実行される、請求項7に記載の光学制御システム。
- 前記ノイズ検出機構からの出力がエミッタ電力レベルを判断するために使用される、請求項7または8に記載される光学制御システム。
- 前記ノイズ検出機構からの出力が、超過ノイズに起因するエラー状態が存在するかどうかを判断するために使用される、請求項7〜9のいずれかに記載される光学制御システム。
- 複数の光学エミッタおよび複数の光学ディテクタを有する光学制御システムを動作させるための方法であって、前記複数の光学エミッタおよび前記複数の光学ディテクタが、その間に光路の領域を規定し、前記領域の近傍で生じる光学的相互作用によってエミッタとディテクタの間のエネルギーの伝達を変調することができ、前記ディテクタのうち少なくとも1つが、前記光学エミッタのうち2つ以上から光学エネルギーを受信するように配置される、方法において、前記方法が、
異なる変調関数を用いて各エミッタを変調する変調スキームに従って、複数の前記光学エミッタを同時に駆動させるステップであって、前記関数が互いに対して直交する、ステップと、
前記少なくとも1つディテクタから出力を受信するステップと、
前記エミッタを駆動する少なくともそれらの変調関数と前記出力を相関させるステップであって、前記少なくとも1つディテクタがそこから光学エネルギーを受信するように配置され、それにより、前記エミッタの各々から前記少なくとも1つディテクタに入射するエネルギーの量を判断する、相関させるステップと、
