Abstract
Description
血液サンプルを収容するチャンバは、実質的に平行に互いに対向して配置される、すなわち2つの壁が互いに向き合う、第1の側壁および第2の側壁を備える。チャンバの容積は、0.1〜20μlの範囲、好ましくは1μlであってよい。第1の側壁と第2の側壁の間の距離は、0.05〜0.3mm、好ましくは0.1mmであってよい。
好ましくは、第1の超音波手段および第2の超音波手段は、同相で動作されるように構成される。第1の超音波手段および第2の超音波手段は、同時にまたは互いに独立して動作されるように構成されてもよい。本発明の文脈において、「同相」という用語は、第1の超音波手段および第2の超音波手段の活動化が、ゼロおよび最大値が同時に起こる第1の側壁および第2の側壁の同じ周波数での周期振動をもたらすことであると理解されよう。最も効果的な溶血を得るために、往復運動のとき、側壁が反対方向、つまり互いに近づくか遠ざかるかのどちらかに動くことがさらに好ましい。好ましくは、超音波手段は、システムにおいて、20〜100kHzの領域、より好ましくは血液サンプルの溶血に効率がよいとされる周波数領域である30kHzの周波数の周期振動を得るように動作される。
好ましい一実施形態では、装置は、サンプルチャンバならびに第1の超音波手段および第2の超音波手段を収容するハウジングをさらに備え、そこにおいて第1の質量要素および第2の質量要素のそれぞれが、各質量要素をハウジングに弾性的に固定する1つまたは複数のばね要素を有する。ばね要素は、質量要素が超音波手段と一緒に往復運動することができるようにする一方で質量要素の運動を限定する。

Claims (10)
- 血液サンプルを溶血させその少なくとも1つのパラメータを測定する装置であって、
前記血液サンプルを収容し、第1の側壁および反対にある第2の側壁を有する、サンプルチャンバと、
前記第1の側壁と前記第2の側壁の間にもたらされる前記血液サンプルを溶血させるように、前記第1の側壁および前記第2の側壁に超音波を発生させる、超音波手段と、
前記溶血された血液サンプルが前記第1の側壁と前記第2の側壁の間にもたらされるとき、前記溶血された血液サンプルの少なくとも1つのパラメータを測定する、光学測定手段と
を備え、
前記超音波手段が、前記第1の側壁に超音波を発生させる第1の超音波手段と、前記第2の側壁に超音波を発生させる第2の超音波手段を備えることを特徴とする、
装置。 - 前記第1の超音波手段および前記第2の超音波手段が同相で動作されるように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記超音波手段のそれぞれが圧電素子を備える、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の超音波手段が、前記第1の側壁と接触する第1の電極を備え、前記第2の超音波手段が、前記第2の側壁と接触する第2の電極を備え、交流電流が、前記側壁に超音波を発生させるように前記第1の電極および前記第2の電極に印加される、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の側壁および前記第2の側壁ならびに前記第1の超音波手段および前記第2の超音波手段が、前記サンプルチャンバまわりに対称的に配置される、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記サンプルチャンバの前記側壁が、個別の要素である、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記サンプルチャンバの前記側壁が、一体の要素として作製される、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記第1の超音波手段が第1の質量要素を備え、前記第2の超音波手段が第2の質量要素を備える、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記光学測定手段が、前記第1の質量要素内に配置される光度測定光放射源と、前記第2の質量要素内に配置される光度測定検出器を備える、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記サンプルチャンバと、前記第1の超音波手段と、前記第2の超音波手段とを収容するハウジングをさらに備え、前記第1の質量要素および前記第2の質量要素のそれぞれが、前記各質量要素を前記ハウジングに弾性的に固定する1つまたは複数のばね要素を有する、請求項8または9に記載の装置。
