Abstract
Description
本出願は、米国登録商標特許庁に2007年11月15日に出願の米国特許出願第11/940437号の一部継続出願であり、その開示の全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
Claims (30)
- 複数の発光体をグループ化する方法であって、
国際照明委員会(CIE)1976を含み、少なくとも2つの色度座標として複数の色のそれぞれを表すように構成された複数軸の色空間の領域であって、前記領域が前記複数軸の色空間上の所定の点に最も近く第1の長さを備える長軸と前記第1の長さより短い第2の長さを備える短軸とを含む、領域を使用して前記複数の発光体の一部を選択するステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記領域は、楕円、方形、および/または6角形の形状を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記長軸は、前記複数軸の色空間の垂直軸から時計回りに実質的に10度に向き付けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の長さに対する前記第1の長の比は、1.3から2.3までの範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の長さに対する前記第1の長さの比は、約2.1を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数の隣接する領域を使用して前記複数の発光体の複数の部分を選択するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の領域のそれぞれは、実質的に同等の形状、方向、およびサイズを含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の方法。
- 特定用途向け透過特性に応じて、前記複数の発光体の前記部分を選択するステップを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記特定用途向け透過特性は、表示パネルの透過特性を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の発光体のそれぞれに対して発光体スペクトルパワー分布データを生成するステップと、前記複数の発光体のそれぞれの前記発光体スペクトルパワー分布に対応する複数の隣接する領域の1つを選択するステップとを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の発光体は、固体発光体、白熱光、および/または冷陰極蛍光を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数の発光体をグループ化するためのコンピュータプログラム製品であって、
請求項1に記載の方法を実施するように構成されたコンピュータ読取り可能なプログラムコードが組み入れられたコンピュータ使用可能な記憶媒体を備えることを特徴とするコンピュータプログラム製品。 - 機器であって、
国際照明委員会(CIE)1976を含み、少なくとも2つの色度座標として複数の色のそれぞれを表すように構成された複数軸の色空間の領域であって、前記領域が前記複数軸の色空間上の所定の点に最も近く第1の長さを備える長軸と前記第1の長さより短い第2の長さを備える短軸とを含む、領域によって定義される最大色度差を含む複数の発光体を含むことを特徴とする機器。 - 前記複数軸の色空間は、国際照明委員会(CIE)1931の1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記領域は、楕円、方形、および/または6角形の形状を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記長軸は、前記複数軸の色空間の垂直軸から時計回りに実質的に10度に向き付けられることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記第2の長さに対する前記第1の長の比は、1.3から2.3までの範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記第2の長さに対する前記第1の長さの比は、約2.1を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記複数の発光体の複数の部分は、前記複数軸の色空間の複数の隣接する領域のそれぞれによって定義された最大色度差を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記複数の領域のそれぞれは、実質的に同等の形状、方向、およびサイズを備えることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の機器。
- 前記複数の発光体の一部は、特定用途向け透過特性に応じて定義された最大色度差を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記特定用途向け透過特性は、表示パネルの透過特性を含むことを特徴とする請求項21に記載の機器。
- 前記複数の発光体のそれぞれは、スペクトルパワー分布データを含み、前記スペクトルパワー分布データに対応する複数の領域の1つにグループ化されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記複数の発光体は、固体発光体、白熱光、および/または冷陰極蛍光を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の機器。
- 複数の発光体をグループ化するための装置であって、
前記複数の発光体のそれぞれに対応する前記スペクトルデータを推定するように構成された色度モジュールと、
国際照明委員会(CIE)1976を含み少なくとも2つの色度座標として複数の色のそれぞれを表すように構成された複数軸の色空間の色空間領域であって、第1の長さを備える長軸と前記第1の長さより短い第2の長さを備える短軸とを含む、前記色空間領域の、境界を画定するように構成された色空間領域画定モジュールと、
前記色空間領域に対応する前記複数の発光体の一部を選択するように構成された選択モジュールと
を備えることを特徴とする装置。 - 前記複数の発光体のそれぞれに対応する画面前(FOS)スペクトルデータを推定するための手段であって、前記選択モジュールは前記FOSスペクトルデータを介して前記色空間領域に対応する前記複数の発光体の前記部分を選択するように構成される、手段を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項25に記載の装置。
- 複数の発光体をグループ化する方法であって、
前記複数の発光体のそれぞれに対して未処理の発光体スペクトルパワー分布データを生成するステップと、
特定用途向け透過特性および前記複数の発光体のそれぞれに対する前記発光体スペクトルパワー未処理データから画面前(FOS)スペクトルパワー分布データを推定するステップと、
前記複数の発光体のそれぞれを、前記複数の発光体のそれぞれの前記FOSスペクトルパワー分布データに対応する少なくとも2つの色度座標として複数の色のそれぞれを表すように構成された複数軸の色空間の複数の領域の1つであって、第1の長さを備える長軸と前記第1の長さより短い第2の長さを備える短軸とを含み前記長軸は前記複数軸の色空間の垂直軸とは実質的に異なって向き付けられた、前記領域にグループ化するステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記長軸は、前記複数軸の色空間の前記垂直軸から時計回りに実質的に10度に向き付けられることを特徴とする請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の長さに対する前記第1の長の比は、1.3から2.3までの範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の長さに対する前記第1の長さの比は、約2.1を含むことを特徴とする請求項27に記載の方法。
