Claims (20)
- バックライト組立体及びディスプレイ表面を有する電子ディスプレイの熱制御システムであって、
前記ディスプレイ表面の前方に配置されており、入口と出口と外部表面とを有する第1のガス室と、
前記第1のガス室の前記入口及び前記出口に気体連通し、前記ディスプレイ表面の後方に配置されており、内部表面及び外部表面を有する第2のガス室と、
前記第2のガス室内にあり、ガスを前記第1のガス室内及び前記第2のガス室内で移動させる1つ又はそれ以上のガス室ファンと、
前記第2のガス室内に収容された隔離ガスを冷却する手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする熱制御システム。 - 前記隔離ガスを冷却する手段は、空気を強制的に前記第2のガス室の前記外部表面上に送る1つ又はそれ以上の外部ファンを備える請求項1に記載の熱制御システム。
- 前記熱制御システムは、更に、前記電子ディスプレイを動作させる1つ又はそれ以上の電子部品を備えており、前記1つ又はそれ以上の電子部品は前記第2のガス室内に収容されている請求項1に記載の熱制御システム。
- 前記第2のガス室の前記外部表面には1つ又はそれ以上の表面形状部材が形成されている請求項2に記載の熱制御システム。
- 前記熱制御システムは、更に、前記第2のガス室内に収容されたガスを加熱する手段を備えている請求項1に記載の熱制御システム。
- 前記第2のガス室内に収容されたガスを加熱する前記手段は、前記第2のガス室内に1つ又はそれ以上の加熱素子を備える請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のガス室の前記外部表面は前記バックライト組立体に接近して設置されており、前記バックライト組立体と前記第2のガス室の前記外部表面との間には隙間が形成されており、
前記熱制御システムは、更に、前記隙間から空気を引き出すよう構成された1つ又はそれ以上の強制対流ファンを備えている請求項1に記載の熱制御システム。 - 前記熱制御システムは、更に、空気を強制的に前記第1のガス室の前記外部表面に送るよう構成されたエアカーテン装置を備えている請求項1から4および7のいずれか一項に記載の熱制御システム。
- 前記熱制御システムは、更に、前記第1のガス室の前方に設置された直線偏光子を備えている請求項1から4および7または8のいずれか一項に記載の熱制御システム。
- 前記熱制御システムは、更に、
前記ディスプレイ表面の温度を測定するよう構成された温度検知装置と、
前記温度検知装置並びに前記室及び前記外部ファンと通信しているスイッチと、
を備え、
前記ディスプレイ表面の温度がしきい値に達したときに前記外部ファンのスイッチが入る請求項2から9のいずれか一項に記載の熱制御システム。 - 前記熱制御システムは、更に、前記第2のガス室内に濾過器を備えている請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の熱制御システム。
- 前記1つ又はそれ以上の外部ファンは、空調が為された前記第2のガス室の前記外部表面に空気を強制的に送る請求項2から4および7から11のいずれか一項に記載の熱制御システム。
- 熱制御された電子ディスプレイであって、
ディスプレイスタックと、
バックライト組立体と、
強制対流プレートと、
1つ又はそれ以上の強制対流ファンと、
反射防止ガラスから成る第1のプレートと、
直線偏光子と、
反射防止ガラスから成る第2のプレートと、
を備えており、
前記バックライト組立体は、前記ディスプレイスタックの後方に配置され、後方表面を有しており、
前記強制対流プレートは、前記バックライト組立体の前記後方表面に接近して配置されており、前記強制対流プレートと前記バックライト組立体の前記後方表面との間には隙間が形成されており、
前記1つ又はそれ以上の強制対流ファンは、前記隙間から空気を引き出すよう構成されており、
前記第1のプレートは、前記ディスプレイスタックの前方に配置されており、前記第1のプレートの前記反射防止ガラスと前記ディスプレイスタックとの間には絶縁隙間が形成されており、
前記直線偏光子は、前記第1のプレートの前方に配置されており、
前記第2のプレートは、前記直線偏光子の前方に配置されていることを特徴とする熱制御された電子ディスプレイ。 - 前記電子ディスプレイは、更に、前記反射防止ガラスから成る前記第2のプレートに空気を強制的に送るよう構成されたエアカーテン装置を備える請求項13に記載の電子ディスプレイ。
- 前記バックライト組立体は、
前方表面及び後方表面を備えるプリント回路基板と、
前記プリント回路基板の前記前方表面に取り付けられた複数のLEDと、
前記プリント回路基板の前記後方表面に塗布された金属性コーティング材と、
を備える請求項13および14のいずれか一項に記載の電子ディスプレイ。 - 前記電子ディスプレイは、更に、
前記絶縁隙間を備えており、入口と出口とを有する第1のガス室と、
前記第1のガス室の前記入口及び前記出口に気体連通し、前記電子ディスプレイの表面の後方に配置されており、内部表面及び外部表面を有する第2のガス室と、
前記第2のガス室内にあり、ガスを前記第1のガス室内及び前記第2のガス室内で移動させる1つ又はそれ以上のガス室ファンと、
前記第2のガス室内に収容された前記ガスを冷却する手段と、
を備える請求項13から15のいずれか一項に記載の電子ディスプレイ。 - バックライト組立体及びディスプレイ表面を有する電子ディスプレイを熱制御する方法であって、
前記ディスプレイ表面と接触している第1のガス室と前記第1のガス室と気体連通している第2のガス室とを備える隔離ガスシステムを設けるステップと、
隔離ガスを強制的に前記第1のガス室内へ送るステップと、
前記ディスプレイ表面から前記隔離ガスへ熱を伝達するステップと、
前記隔離ガスを前記第2のガス室内へ案内するステップと、
冷却が望ましい場合に、前記第2のガス室内の前記隔離ガスを冷却するステップと、
前記隔離ガスを前記第1のガス室内へ戻すステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記隔離ガスを冷却するステップは、
前記隔離ガスから前記第2のガス室の壁へ熱を伝達するステップと、
空気を強制的に前記第2のガス室の壁へ送るステップと、
前記第2のガス室の壁から前記空気へ熱を伝達するステップと、
を含む請求項17に記載の方法。 - 前記方法は、更に、加熱が望ましい場合、前記第2のガス室内の前記隔離ガスを加熱するステップを含む請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、更に、
前記バックライト組立体の後方に強制対流プレートを設けるステップと、
前記強制対流プレートと前記バックライト組立体との間に形成された隙間に空気を強制的に送って前記バックライト組立体を冷却するステップと、
を含む請求項17から19に記載の方法。
