Abstract
【解決手段】液晶表示装置は、一面側に第1電極を有する第1基板と、一面側に第2電極を有し、当該第2電極と第1基板の第1電極とが向かい合うようにして第1基板と対向配置された第2基板と、第1基板と第2基板との間に設けられた液晶層と、を含む。第1電極は、各々が第1方向に延びた形状であり、規則的な市松状に設けられた複数の第1開口部21を有し、第2電極は、各々が第1方向に延びた形状であり、規則的な市松状に設けられた複数の第2開口部22を有する。そして、複数の第1開口部のそれぞれが複数の第2開口部のうちの平面視において隣り合う2つの第2開口部の間に位置するように、複数の第1開口部と複数の第2開口部とが相対的に配置される。

Claims (4)
- 一面側に第1電極を有する第1基板と、
一面側に第2電極を有し、当該第2電極と前記第1基板の前記第1電極とが向かい合うようにして前記第1基板と対向配置された第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に設けられた液晶層と、
を含み、
前記第1電極は、各々が第1方向に延びた形状であり、規則的な市松状に設けられた複数の第1開口部を有し、
前記第2電極は、各々が前記第1方向に延びた形状であり、規則的な市松状に設けられた複数の第2開口部を有し、
前記複数の第1開口部のそれぞれが前記複数の第2開口部のうちの平面視において隣り合う2つの第2開口部の間に位置するように、前記複数の第1開口部と前記複数の第2開口部とが相対的に配置される、
液晶表示装置。 - 前記複数の第1開口部のそれぞれは、前記複数の第2開口部のうち平面視において長手方向に隣り合う1つの第2開口部と、互いの長手方向の一端部を揃えて配置される、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記複数の第1開口部のそれぞれは、前記複数の第2開口部のうち平面視において長手方向に隣り合う1つの第2開口部と、互いの長手方向の一端部を部分的に重ねて配置される、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記複数の第1開口部及び前記複数の第2開口部は、それぞれの長手方向の外縁と短手方向の外縁が斜めに交差している、請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の液晶表示装置。
