Abstract

Description
(A)中間電圧グリッドへ接続またはそこから接続されるモデムの拡散スペクトル変調を使用する。拡散スペクトル変調は比較的低いスペクトル電力密度(例えば−55dBm/Hz)を使用する。
(B)変調されたデータの電力レベルを最少にする。電力レベルはライン上の任意の雑音、任意の自己発生する装置の雑音、例えば内部雑音、増幅器雑音等を克服するのに十分な高さであるべきである。雑音のある低電圧と高電圧グリッドからの中間電圧ラインの相対的な隔離を利用するために、ライン雑音は最小にされることができる。これは各誘導結合器で背中合せのモデムを位置付けることにより実現されることができる。背中合せのモデムはビット流の再生と、付加的な媒体にわたるデータ伝送の再変調を目的としている。
図12は誘導結合器で背中合わせのモデムを有するネットワークの一部の概略図である。第1のモデム1202は変調されたデータ信号の伝送および受信のための誘導結合器1102の第2の巻線のデータポートに結合された第1のポート1225と、デジタルデータの別の結合のための第2のポート1210とを有する。第2のモデム1205は第1のモデム1202の第2のポート1210に結合された第1のデジタルデータポート1230と、変調されたデータ信号のさらに別の結合のための第2のポート1235とを有する。随意選択的に、ルータ1220は第1のモデム1202と第2のモデム1205との間に挿入されている。
(A)LVグリッドの雑音はMVグリッドに到達しない。分離はデータ補正1210と直列に接続した光アイソレータによりさらに強化されることができる。

Claims (14)
- 変成器の1次側の相の第1の導体と、変成器の2次側の相の第2の導体とを有する電力伝送ケーブルを備えた電力配電システムによって構成されているデータ通信ネットワークにおいて、
前記第1の導体を介してデータ信号を誘導的に結合する第1の結合器と、
前記第2の導体を介してデータ信号を誘導的に結合する第2の結合器とを具備し、
前記1次巻線は前記電力配電システムの配電周波数において無視できる小さなインピーダンスを有しており、
前記データ信号は、前記変成器をバイパスし前記第1の結合器および前記第2の結合器を介して前記第1の導体と前記第2の導体との間に結合されているデータ通信ネットワーク。 - 前記データ通信ネットワークはさらに、前記第2の結合器と前記第2の導体との間で前記データ信号を結合するキャパシタを具備している請求項1記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。
- 前記第1の導体は前記電力配電システムの中間電圧グリッドの一部分である請求項1記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。
- 前記第1の結合器は、
前記第1の導体が通過するコアと、
前記コアの一部に巻かれた巻線とを具備し、
前記第1の導体は前記電力配電システムの配電周波数において無視できる程度の小さいインピーダンスを有しており、
前記結合器は1乃至50MHzの周波数範囲にわたって前記第1の導体の特性インピーダンスよりも低い反射インピーダンスを有しており、
前記データ信号は前記コアと前記巻線を通って前記第1の導体を介して誘導的に結合されている請求項1記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。 - さらに、前記第1の結合器によって前記データ信号を結合する第1のポートと、記データ信号のさらに別の結合のための第2のポートとを有する第1のモデムと、
前記第1のモデムの前記第2のポートに結合された第1のポートと、前記第2の結合器を介するデータ信号のための第2のポートとを有する第2のモデムとを具備している請求項1記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。 - 前記第1の結合器は無線周波数変成器を具備している請求項1記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。
- 前記変成器は、電圧ステップダウン変成器により構成され、
前記データ通信ネットワークはさらに、前記第2の導体と接地点との間に接続されている容量性結合器と、その容量性結合器を通って反射されたとき電力伝送ケーブルの特性インピーダンスにほぼ等しいインピーダンスを有しているコンポーネントとを具備している請求項1記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。 - 前記コンポーネントは、モデムである請求項7記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。
- 前記電力配電システムは、架空ケーブルと地下ケーブルとの間の転移部を含み、
前記地下ケーブルは前記架空ケーブルよりも低い特性インピーダンスを有しており、
前記第1の結合器は前記転移部に近い位置の架空ケーブル上に設けられている請求項1記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。 - 前記電力配電システムは、前記第1の導体と接地点との間に設けられているコンポーネントを含み、
そのコンポーネントは電力伝送ケーブルのインピーダンスよりも低いインピーダンス0有しており、
データ通信ネットワークはさらに前記コンポーネントと直列に接続されたチョークを具備している請求項1記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。 - 前記コンポーネントは、力率補正キャパシタを具備している請求項10記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。

前記ルータの前記第2のポートに結合された第1のポートと、前記第2の結合器を介するデータ信号の結合のための第2のポートとを有する第2のモデムとを具備している請求項1記載のデータ通信ネットワーク。 - 変成器の1次側の相の第1の導体と、変成器の2次側の相の第2の導体とを有する電力伝送ケーブルを備えた電力配電システムによってデータ信号の通信を行う方法において、
前記第1の導体を介して前記データ信号を誘導的に結合する第1の結合器を配置し、
前記第2の導体を介して前記データ信号を誘導的に結合する第2の結合器を配置し、
前記データ信号を前記変成器をバイパスさせて前記第1の結合器および前記第2の結合器を介して前記第1の導体と前記第2の導体との間に結合させるデータ信号の通信方法。
