Abstract
【解決手段】基材シートと、該基材シートの一方の面に設けた感熱記録層と、サーマルヘッドが当接する他方の面に設けた耐熱保護層とからなる感熱記録材料において、上記耐熱保護層が、ポリヒドロキシポリウレタン樹脂と、ワックス類、高級脂肪酸のアミドまたはエステル、高級アルコールおよびリン酸エステルから選ばれる、加熱により溶融して滑性または離型性を発現する物質とを含む組成物からなることを特徴とする感熱記録材料。

Description
本発明の感熱記録材料は、基材シートの一方の面に感熱記録層が、そして他方の面に耐熱保護層が形成され、上記耐熱保護層を構成する高分子化合物が、5員環環状カーボネート化合物とアミン化合物との反応から誘導されたポリヒドロキシポリウレタン樹脂からなることが特徴である。

攪拌機、温度計、ガス導入管および還流冷却器を備えた反応容器中に、下記式Aで表される2価エポキシ化合物(ジャパンエポキシレジン(株)製、エピコート828;エポキシ当量187g/mol[図1])100部、N−メチルピロリドン100部、ヨウ化ナトリウム1.5部を加え均一に溶解させた後、炭酸ガスを0.5リッター/min.の速度でバブリングしながら80℃で30時間加熱攪拌させた。
参考例1で用いた2価エポキシ化合物Aの代わりに、下記式B(東都化成(株)製、YDF−170;エポキシ当量172g/mol)を使用した以外は参考例1と同様に反応させ白色粉末の5員環環状カーボネート化合物(1−B)121部(収率96%)を得た。
参考例1で用いた2価エポキシ化合物Aの代わりに、下記式C(ナガセケムテックス(株)製、EX−212;エポキシ当量151g/mol)を使用した以外は参考例1と同様に反応させ無色透明の液状5員環環状カーボネート化合物(1−C)111部(収率86%)を得た。
攪拌機、温度計、ガス導入管および還流冷却器を備えた反応容器を窒素置換し、これに参考例1〜3で得られた5員環環状カーボネート化合物、さらに固形分が35%になるようにN−メチルピロリドンを加え均一に溶解した。次に表1に記載のアミン化合物を所定当量加え、90℃の温度で10時間攪拌し、アミン化合物が確認できなくなるまで反応させた。得られた3種類のポリヒドロキシポリウレタン樹脂、および該樹脂からなるフィルムの性状は表1に記載の通りである。
攪拌機、温度計、ガス導入管および還流冷却器を備えた反応容器を窒素置換し、平均分子量約2,000のポリブチレンアジペート150部と1,4−ブタンジオール15部とを200部のメチルエチルケトンと50部のジメチルホルムアミドからなる混合有機溶剤中に溶解し、60℃でよく攪拌しながら62部の水素添加MDIを171部のジメチルホルムアミドに溶解したものを徐々に滴下し、滴下終了後80℃で6時間反応させた。この溶液は固形分35%で3.2MPa・s(25℃)の粘度を有していた。この溶液から得られたフィルムは破断強度45MPaで破断伸度480%を有し、熱軟化温度は110℃であった。
下記の組成による耐熱保護層用塗料を調製した。
・重合例1の樹脂溶液(固形分35%) 10質量部
・ポリエチレンワックス(旭電化(株)製;固形分30%) 2質量部
下記の組成による耐熱保護層用塗料を調製した。
・重合例2の樹脂溶液(固形分35%) 10質量部
・レシチン 2質量部
下記の組成による耐熱保護層用塗料を調製した。
・重合例3の樹脂溶液(固形分35%) 10質量部
・リン酸エステル(第一工業製薬(株)製) 0.1質量部
・ポリイソシアネート(固形分75%) 1質量部
下記の組成による耐熱保護層用塗料を調製した。
・重合例1の樹脂溶液(固形分35%) 10質量部
下記の組成による耐熱保護層用塗料を調製した。
・比較重合例1の樹脂溶液(固形分35%) 10質量部
・ポリイソシアネート(固形分75%) 1質量部
下記の組成による耐熱保護層用塗料を調製した。
・比較重合例2の樹脂溶液(固形分35%) 10質量部
・ポリイソシアネート(固形分75%) 1質量部
・パラフィンワックス 10部
・カルナバワックス 10部
・ポリブテン(日本石油製) 1部
・カーボンブラック 2部

Claims (9)
- 基材シートと、該基材シートの一方の面に設けた感熱記録層と、サーマルヘッドが当接する他方の面に設けた耐熱保護層とからなる感熱記録材料において、上記耐熱保護層が、ポリヒドロキシポリウレタン樹脂と、ワックス類、高級脂肪酸のアミドまたはエステル、高級アルコールおよびリン酸エステルから選ばれる、加熱により溶融して滑性または離型性を発現する物質とを含む組成物からなることを特徴とする感熱記録材料。
- 前記ポリヒドロキシポリウレタン樹脂が、5員環環状カーボネート化合物とアミン化合物との反応から誘導された樹脂である請求項1に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記5員環環状カーボネート化合物が、エポキシ化合物と二酸化炭素を反応させて得られる化合物である請求項2に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記ポリヒドロキシポリウレタン樹脂が、二酸化炭素分を1〜25質量%含有する請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記耐熱保護層を形成する組成物が、ポリヒドロキシポリウレタン樹脂100質量部に対して、ワックス類、高級脂肪酸のアミドまたはエステル、高級アルコールおよびリン酸エステルから選ばれる物質が1〜100質量部の割合で配合された組成物である請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記耐熱保護層が、さらに他の樹脂を含む請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記耐熱保護層が、ポリヒドロキシポリウレタン樹脂の水酸基と反応する架橋剤で架橋された被膜である請求項1〜6の何れか1項に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記基材シートの厚みが、2.5μm〜4.5μmである請求項1〜7の何れか1項に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記耐熱保護層の厚みが、0.001〜2.00μmの範囲である請求項1〜8の何れか1項に記載の感熱記録材料。
