Abstract
【解決手段】本発明に係る液晶表示装置は、黒色でない色彩を有し、その一部分が第1の画素を構成する第1の色膜13と、その一部分が前記第1の画素に隣接する第2の画素を構成する第2の色膜14と、その少なくとも一部分が第3の画素を構成する第3の色膜15と、第4の色膜18と、が表面に形成された第1の基板2と、第2の基板26と、第1の基板2と第2の基板26に挟まれた液晶層28と、を有し、第1の色膜13と第2の色膜14は、第1の画素と第2の画素の境界において互いに重なり合う第1の重畳部16を有し、第4の色膜18は、第1の重畳部16の上に形成され、第1の基板2と第2の基板26との間隔を規定するポストスペーサ29を構成する。

Claims (6)
- 黒色でない色彩を有し、その一部分が第1の画素を構成する第1の色膜と、
前記第1の色膜と異なる黒色でない色彩を有し、その一部分が前記第1の画素に隣接する第2の画素を構成する第2の色膜と、
前記第1の色膜及び前記第2の色膜と異なる黒色でない色彩を有し、その少なくとも一部分が第3の画素を構成する第3の色膜と、
前記第1の色膜及び前記第2の色膜と異なる黒色でない色彩を有する第4の色膜と、
が表面に形成された第1の基板と、
第2の基板と、
前記第1の基板と前記第2の基板に挟まれた液晶層と、
を有し、
前記第1の色膜と前記第2の色膜は、前記第1の画素と前記第2の画素の境界において互いに重なり合う重畳部を有し、
前記第4の色膜は、前記重畳部の上に形成され、前記第1の基板と前記第2の基板との間隔を規定するスペーサを構成する、
液晶表示装置。 - 前記重畳部における前記第1の色膜と前記第2の色膜の厚さの和は、前記第1の画素における第1の色膜と前記第2の画素における第2の色膜の厚さの和より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第4の色膜は、前記第3の色膜と同色であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1の画素、前記第2の画素及び前記3の画素の上面には導電膜及び絶縁膜が形成され、前記第4の色膜の上面は前記第4の色膜が露出していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1の基板上には、複数の走査信号線、複数の映像信号線及び各画素毎に設けられたスイッチング素子が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記重畳部は、前記走査信号線又は前記映像信号線の上に重なるように設けられていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
