本件出願は2007年9月13日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/993,614号の利益を請求する。
本発明を、その好ましい態様に従って上に説明したが、これは、本件開示の精神及び範囲内で修正することができる。従って、本件特許出願は、本明細書中に開示された一般的原理を使用して、本発明の全ての変化、使用又は適用をカバーするように意図される。更に、本件特許出願は、本発明が関係し、下記の特許請求の範囲の限定の範囲内に入る当該技術分野に於ける公知の又は慣例的な実施の中に入るような、本明細書中の開示からの逸脱をカバーするように意図される。
Claims (11)
- 金属水素化物及び有機金属化合物を含む開始剤組成物の存在下に、モノマーを重合する工程を含んでなるモノマーのアニオン重合方法であって、該モノマーが、炭素及び水素に加えて、1種又はそれ以上の元素を含有する1種又はそれ以上のビニルモノマーを含むことによって特徴づけられるアニオン重合方法。
- 前記金属水素化物の金属が元素の周期律表の第I族及び第II族金属からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記金属水素化物がLiH、NaH及びKHからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記金属水素化物がNaHである請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記有機金属化合物が有機アルミニウム化合物である請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記有機アルミニウム化合物がトリイソブチルアルミニウム及びトリエチルアルミニウムの群から選択される請求項5に記載の方法。
- 炭素及び水素に加えて、1種又はそれ以上の元素を含む1種又はそれ以上の前記ビニルモノマーがニトリル、エステル、アミド、イミド、無水物、メタクリル酸エステル及びアクリル酸エステルからなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 炭素及び水素に加えて、1種又はそれ以上の元素を含む1種又はそれ以上の前記ビニルモノマーがアクリロニトリルを含む請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記重合温度が50〜150℃の範囲内であり、前記有機金属化合物の金属の、前記金属水素化物の金属に対するモル比が、0.01〜5の範囲内であり、前記金属水素化物の濃度が、モノマーの重量の0.0001〜0.1重量%の範囲内であり、前記重合を、溶媒の存在下に実施し、炭素及び水素に加えて、1種又はそれ以上の元素を含む1種又はそれ以上の前記ビニルモノマーの濃度が、モノマーの重量プラス溶媒の重量の、1重量%又はそれ以上であり、前記モノマーの濃度が、モノマーの重量プラス溶媒の重量の、1〜100重量%の範囲内である請求項1、2、3、4、5、6、7又は8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 請求項9に記載の方法によって得られるポリマーを含むポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーがスチレン−アクリロニトリルポリマー、ポリ(ブタジエン−ブロック−スチレン−アクリロニトリルポリマー)及び枝分かれしたスチレン−アクリロニトリルポリマーからなる群から選択される請求項10に記載のポリマー。
