Description
Claims (18)
- 流水の運動エネルギーを回転ロータ軸の運動エネルギーへ変換するためのデバイスであって、第一の流動方向と、第一に実質的に逆の第二の流動方向とに効果的であるよう適応しており、
ロータ軸に対するトルクの伝達のために、各々が、ロータ軸に連結されたブレード軸に結合した二つのロータ・ブレードからなり、ブレードがそれらのブレード軸に各々堅固に結合され、ブレード軸が、それらの自身の軸の周りに、ロータ軸に対して回転するように取り付けられ、ブレード軸が同じ回転方向へ回転するよう相互に連結され、ロータ・ブレードが各々非対称断面形状を持つことを特徴とする、デバイス。 - ブレード軸が各々、ロータ軸に対して垂直に延びることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- ロータ・ブレードが各々、分離したブレード軸に結合され、それらブレード軸が、ブレード軸方向を横切る方向へ、相互から離れて配置され、ブレード軸が、回転のために連結されていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のデバイス。
- 二つのロータ・ブレードが、同一のブレード軸に堅固に結合されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のデバイス。
- ブレード軸がロータ・ブレード断面形状のトルク点から離れて配置されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のデバイス。
- ブレード軸がロータ・ブレード断面形状のトルク点を通って延びることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のデバイス。
- デバイスが、第一および第二の位置でロータ・ブレードを回転させるための反転手段を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- ロータ軸が中空の形状をとり、そして、反転手段が、ロータ軸を通って延びて歯車伝動装置によってブレード軸に連結する反転軸、そして反転軸を回転駆動するための駆動手段からなることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 反転手段が、ロータ軸およびブレードの非対称構成からなることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- デバイスが、第一および第二の位置においてロータ・ブレードを捕捉するための捕捉手段を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 捕捉手段が、第一の位置と第二の位置との間の同じ経路を通るロータ・ブレードの移動を制限するための、第一のストップおよび第二のストップを含むことを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のデバイス。
- 捕捉手段が、少なくとも、ブレード軸に対するロータ・ブレードの移動を阻止する位置と、ブレード軸に対するロータ・ブレードの移動を許容する位置との間で移動可能なラチェットからなることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のデバイス。
- 阻止位置へラチェットを付勢する付勢手段によって特徴づけられる、請求項12に記載のデバイス。
- 起動すると阻止位置から解放位置へラチェットを移動させる作動手段によって特徴づけられる、請求項13に記載のデバイス。
- ロータ軸が発電機に連結する、前述の請求項のいずれかに記載のデバイスによって特徴づけられる、流水の運動エネルギーを電気エネルギーへ変換するためのデバイス。
- 流水の運動エネルギーを回転ロータ軸の運動エネルギーへ変換するための方法で、水が第一の流動方向、そして第一に実質的に逆な第二の流動方向へ択一的に流れることができ、また、流水が加える力によってロータ・ブレードが、ブレード軸を介してロータ軸にトルクを加える方法であって、流れの方向が変化するときにロータ・ブレードが、それらのブレード軸に対して回転位置を変化させることを特徴とする、方法。
- ブレードの回転位置の変化が、流れ方向の反転によって生じることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の方法。
- ブレードの回転位置の変化が、反転手段によって実行されることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載の方法。
