Description
Claims (7)
- 流水の運動エネルギーを回転ロータ軸の運動エネルギーへ変換するためのデバイスであって、前記ロータ軸の方向を向く流水の第一の流動方向と、前記第一の流動方向に実質的に逆の第二の流動方向に対して前記流水の運動エネルギーを前記回転ロータ軸の運動エネルギーへ変換するのに適しており、
前記ロータ軸に対して直交する方向に延びるとともに、それ自身の軸の周りに回転自在となって前記ロータ軸に取り付けられたブレード軸と、
前記ブレード軸における前記ロータ軸との連結点を挟んで両側に取り付けられた二つのタービン・ブレードとを備え、
前記二つのタービン・ブレードが前記ブレード軸に各々結合され、前記二つのタービン・ブレードおよび前記ブレード軸が一体となって、前記ブレード軸を中心として自転可能であるとともに、前記ロータ軸に直交するとともに前記ブレード軸を通る面に沿って前記ロータ軸を中心として回転可能であり、
前記二つのタービン・ブレードは前記ブレード軸に対して非対称断面形状を有し、
前記第一の流動方向の流水を受けたときに、前記二つのタービン・ブレードに作用する力が均衡して前記ブレード軸を中心とする第一の自転位置に前記二つのタービン・ブレードおよび前記ブレード軸が一体となって位置し、且つ、前記二つのタービン・ブレードに作用する力が前記ロータ軸を第一の回転方向に回転させるように作用し、
前記第二の流動方向の流水を受けたときに、前記二つのタービン・ブレードに作用する力が均衡して前記ブレード軸を中心とする前記第一の自転位置から反転した第二の自転位置に前記二つのタービン・ブレードおよび前記ブレード軸が一体となって位置し、且つ、前記二つのタービン・ブレードに作用する力が前記ロータ軸を前記第一の回転方向とは逆の第二の回転方向に回転させるように作用することを特徴とする、デバイス。 - 前記二つのタービン・ブレードが、各々、分割された前記ブレード軸の分割部分に結合され、それらブレード軸の分割部分が、一体に回転するように相互に連結されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記二つのタービン・ブレードが、同一のブレード軸に結合されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- デバイスが、前記第一の自転位置と第二の自転位置とに前記二つのタービン・ブレードおよび前記ブレード軸を回転させるための反転手段を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ロータ軸が発電機に連結されてなり、前述の請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のデバイスによって特徴づけられる、流水の運動エネルギーを電気エネルギーへ変換するためのデバイス。
- 流水の運動エネルギーを回転ロータ軸の運動エネルギーへ変換するについて、前記ロータ軸に取り付けられたブレード軸に、前記ロータ軸との連結点を挟んで両側に取り付けられた流水の運動エネルギーを受ける非対称断面形状の二つのタービン・ブレードを備え、流水が第一の流動方向、そして第一の流動方向に実質的に逆な第二の流動方向へ択一的に流れることができ、また、流水が加える力によってタービン・ブレードが、ブレード軸を介してロータ軸にトルクを加える方法であって、
前記第一の流動方向の流水を受けたときに、前記二つのタービン・ブレードに作用する力が均衡して前記ブレード軸を中心とする第一の自転位置に前記二つのタービン・ブレードおよび前記ブレード軸が一体となって位置し、且つ、前記二つのタービン・ブレードに作用する力が前記ロータ軸を第一の回転方向に回転させるように作用し、
前記第二の流動方向の流水を受けたときに、前記二つのタービン・ブレードに作用する力が均衡して前記ブレード軸を中心とする前記第一の自転位置から反転した第二の自転位置に前記二つのタービン・ブレードおよび前記ブレード軸が一体となって位置し、且つ、前記二つのタービン・ブレードに作用する力が前記ロータ軸を前記第一の回転方向とは逆の第二の回転方向に回転させるように作用することを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記二つのタービン・ブレードおよび前記ブレード軸の反転が、流水の流れ方向の反転によって生じることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の方法。
