熱可塑性モノラルフィラメント材料を継ぐための方法と装置に関する米国特許番号4,032,382。2つのフィラメントは、装置のチャネルにおいて結合される。それらは、フィラメントの最初の直径に対応する寸法のチャネルの中で横圧力を受けながら高周波数振動に晒される。結果は、当初の材質に近い直径を持つ接合部である。
実施例1
40kHzの超音波ギャップウェルダを使用して、TADファブリックは、40μmの振幅で、500msの溶接時間及び1秒の保持時間(すなわち、溶接の後、ホーンを上げる前に1秒間ホーンを溶接位置に滞在させる)に晒される。縫い目領域上のゲージ圧力は144kpaであり、トリガ用(TRS)は111Nである。
Claims (26)
- 縫い目領域を有する工業ファブリックを溶接する方法であって、
溶接の間にホーンと金敷きの間の所定ギャップを決定するステップと、
溶接されるべきファブリック縫い目領域終端をホーンと金敷きの間に配置するステップと、
ホーンと金敷きの間の距離を上記所定ギャップに調整するステップと、
所定の時間長の間、或いは縫い目領域終端により所定量のエネルギが吸収されるまで、エネルギを印加することにより上記所定ギャップにてファブリックの前記縫い目領域を溶着するステップと、
を備える方法。 - ファブリックが、PMCファブリック、TAD、工業ファブリック、カレンダー加工及び皮革なめしに用いるためのファブリックからなるグループから選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- ホーンと金敷きの間のギャップが、溶接されるファブリックの最初の厚さの30%から55%の間である請求項1に記載の方法。
- ファブリックが平織りである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 所定ギャップが機械式ストップによって制御される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 溶接された縫い目領域が、ファブリックの縦方向長さが等しい通常縫い目又は従来技術を用いて形成された縫い目より、強度が高く、及び/又は耐久性が優れている請求項1に記載の方法。
- 縦方向に計測した前記縫い目領域の幅が、強度が等しい通常縫い目又は従来技術を用いて形成された縫い目の幅の一部であり、前記一部は0.7以下であり、好ましくは0.5以下であり、最も好ましくは0.3以下である請求項1に記載の方法。
- ファブリックにおける縫い目終端領域摩耗を減少させる方法であって、
ファブリックの末端編み糸端部を超音波で溶着するステップを備え、前記溶接は、ホーンの進出を所定ギャップに制限することによりホーンと金敷きの間の所定ギャップに制御され、末端編み糸端部はファブリック面の下にあることが確実にされている方法。 - ファブリックの末端編み糸端部が最小の縦編み糸のオーバーラップで溶着される請求項8に記載の方法。
- ファブリックが、PMCファブリック、TAD、工業ファブリック、カレンダー加工及び皮革なめしに用いるためのファブリックからなるグループから選択される請求項8に記載の方法。
- 溶接されるファブリックの厚さ又は厚みの30%から55%の間でホーンが進出する請求項8に記載の方法。
- ファブリックが平織りである請求項8に記載の方法。
- 溶接された縫い目領域が、ファブリックの縦方向長さが等しい通常縫い目又は従来技術を用いて形成された縫い目より、強度が高く、及び/又は耐久性が優れている請求項8に記載の方法。
- 縦方向に計測した前記縫い目領域の幅が、強度が等しい通常縫い目又は従来技術を用いて形成された縫い目の幅の一部であり、前記一部は0.7以下であり、好ましくは0.5以下であり、最も好ましくは0.3以下である請求項8に記載の方法。
- 溶接の間にホーンと金敷きの間の所定ギャップを決定するステップと、
溶接されるべきファブリック縫い目領域終端をホーンと金敷きの間に配置するステップと、
ホーンと金敷きの間の距離を上記所定ギャップに調整するステップと、
所定の時間長の間、或いは縫い目領域終端により所定量のエネルギが吸収されるまで、エネルギを印加することにより上記所定ギャップにてファブリックの前記縫い目領域を溶着するステップと、
を備える方法に従って形成される産業ファブリックにおける縫い目。 - ファブリックが、PMCファブリック、TAD、工業ファブリック、カレンダー加工及び皮革なめしに用いるためのファブリックからなるグループから選択される請求項15に記載の縫い目。
- ホーンと金敷きの間のギャップが、溶接されるファブリックの最初の厚さの30%から55%の間である請求項15に記載の縫い目。
- ファブリックが平織りである請求項15に記載の縫い目。
- 所定ギャップが機械式ストップによって制御される請求項15に記載の縫い目。
- ファブリックの終端が最小の縦編み糸のオーバーラップで溶着される請求項15に記載の縫い目。
- 溶接された縫い目領域が、ファブリックの縦方向長さが等しい通常縫い目又は従来技術を用いて形成された縫い目より、強度が高く、及び/又は耐久性が優れている請求項15に記載の縫い目。
- 縦方向に計測した前記縫い目領域の幅が、通常縫い目又は従来技術を用いて形成された縫い目の幅の一部であり、前記一部は0.7以下であり、好ましくは0.5以下であり、最も好ましくは0.3以下である請求項15に記載の縫い目。
- 上記終端がファブリック面の下にある請求項15に記載の縫い目。
- 前記縫い目はピン縫い目又はインライン螺旋縫い目である請求項1に記載の方法。
