Description

米国特許番号4,032,382は、熱可塑性モノラルフィラメント材料を継ぐための方法と装置に関する。2つのフィラメントは、装置のチャネルにおいて結合される。それらは、フィラメントの最初の直径に対応する寸法のチャネルの中で横圧力を受けながら高周波数振動に晒される。結果は、当初の材質に近い直径を持つ接合部である。
実施例1
40kHzの超音波ギャップウェルダを使用して、TADファブリックは、40μmの振幅で、500msの溶接時間及び1秒の保持時間(すなわち、溶接の後、ホーンを上げる前に1秒間ホーンを溶接位置に滞在させる)に晒される。シームの領域上のゲージ圧力は144kpaであり、トリガ用(TRS)は111Nである。
Claims (17)
- 織られた産業ファブリックのファブリックシームの形成中に末端織り糸端部を溶接する方法であって、
前記末端織り糸端部を超音波ホーンと金敷きの間に配置するステップと、
ホーンと金敷きの間の距離を所定ギャップに調整するステップと、
所定の時間長の間、或いはシームの末端織り糸端部により所定量のエネルギが吸収されるまで、エネルギを印加して前記溶接を続けることにより前記所定ギャップが達成されるまでファブリックの上記シームにおいて前記末端織り糸端部を溶接するステップと、
を備え、
ホーンと金敷きの間のギャップが、溶接されるファブリックの最初の厚さの30%から55%の間である方法。 - ファブリックが、PMCファブリック、TADファブリック、工業ファブリック、カレンダー加工及び皮革なめしに用いるためのファブリックからなるグループから選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- ファブリックが平織りである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 所定ギャップが機械式ストップによって制御される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 織られたファブリックのシーム強度を改善する方法であって、
前記織られたファブリックのシーム形成中に、所定の時間長の間、或いは前記シームの末端織り糸端部により所定量のエネルギが吸収されるまで、超音波の前記エネルギを印加することにより織られたファブリックの末端織り糸端部を超音波で溶接するステップを備え、前記溶接は、ホーンの移動を所定ギャップに制限することにより超音波ホーンと金敷きの間が上記所定ギャップとなるように制御されており、
ホーンと金敷きの間の前記所定ギャップが、溶接されるファブリックの最初の厚さの30%から55%の間である方法。 - ファブリックが、PMCファブリック、TADファブリック、工業ファブリック、カレンダー加工及び皮革なめしに用いるためのファブリックからなるグループから選択される請求項5に記載の方法。
- ファブリックが平織りである請求項5に記載の方法。
- 溶接されるべきファブリックシームの末端織り糸端部をホーンと金敷きの間に配置するステップと、
ホーンと金敷きの間の距離を所定ギャップに調整するステップと、
所定の時間長の間、或いはシームの末端織り糸端部により所定量のエネルギが吸収されるまで、エネルギを印加することにより前記所定ギャップが達成されるまでファブリックの前記シームを溶接するステップと、
を備え、
ホーンと金敷きの間のギャップが、溶接されるファブリックの最初の厚さの30%から55%の間である方法に従って形成される産業ファブリックにおけるシーム。 - ファブリックが、PMCファブリック、TADファブリック、工業ファブリック、カレンダー加工及び皮革なめしに用いるためのファブリックからなるグループから選択される請求項8に記載のシーム。
- ファブリックが平織りである請求項8に記載のシーム。
- 所定ギャップが機械式ストップによって制御される請求項8に記載のシーム。
- 前記シームはピンシーム又はインラインスパイラルシームである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記シームはピンシーム又はインラインスパイラルシームである請求項8に記載のシーム。
