- 軸方向、半径方向、及び円周方向を定める剪断バンドであって、前記剪断バンドは、
前記円周方向に沿って延びる外側部材と、
前記円周方向に沿って延びる内側部材と、
前記外側部材及び前記内側部材に連結されていて、各々が前記半径方向に沿って前記部材相互間に延びる複数の弾性円筒形要素とを有する、剪断バンド。 - 前記複数の円筒形要素は、前記軸方向に沿って多数の互いにオーバーラップした列の状態に配置され、前記オーバーラップした列は、前記外側非延伸性部材と前記内側非延伸性部材との間で前記円周方向に沿って位置決めされている、請求項1記載の剪断バンド。
- 前記複数の円筒形要素の各々は、前記軸方向に平行な軸線を定めている、請求項1記載の剪断バンド。
- 前記複数の円筒形要素の各々は、前記外側非延伸性部材及び前記内側非延伸性部材に直接に取り付けられている、請求項1記載の剪断バンド。
- 前記外側部材及び前記内側部材は、前記円周方向に沿って円をなした金属部材から成る、請求項1記載の剪断バンド。
- 前記複数の円筒形要素を前記外側部材に連結する手段を更に有する、請求項1記載の剪断バンド。
- 前記複数の円筒形要素を前記内側部材に連結する手段を更に有する、請求項6記載の剪断バンド。
- 前記剪断バンドの剪断効率は、少なくとも約50パーセントである、請求項1記載の剪断バンド。
