が、該バッテリーモジュールが横方向で互いに接触して配置されるように配置され、冷却剤流路が垂直に形成される構造に構築されている、
複数の、該モジュールアセンブリーの対向側部及び底部を支持し、該モジュールアセンブリーの配置状態を維持するための支持部材と、及び
該モジュールアセンブリー及び該支持部材取り囲むパックハウジングとを包含する中型又は大型バッテリーパックであって、
該バッテリーパックが、冷却剤が、該モジュールアセンブリーの片側の上側末端(または下側末端)を通して、該支持部材により画定される密封空間に沿って導入され、該モジュールアセンブリーを通って垂直に流れ、該バッテリーアセンブリーの反対側の下側末端(または上側末端)を通って排出される冷却構造に構築されている、バッテリーパックを提供することにより、達成される。
Claims (16)
- 中型又は大型バッテリーパックであって、
複数のバッテリーモジュールの各々が、モジュールケース中に配置されてなる複数のバッテリーセルまたは単位モジュールを包含してなり、前記バッテリーセルまたは単位モジュールが互いに直列接続されており、前記バッテリーモジュールが横方向で互いに接触するように配置されてなり、かつ、冷却剤流路が垂直に形成されてなる、という構造に構築されたモジュールアセンブリーと、
前記モジュールアセンブリーの反対側及び底部を支持し、かつ、前記モジュールアセンブリーの配置状態を維持してなる複数の支持部材と、及び
前記モジュールアセンブリー及び前記支持部材を取り囲むパックハウジングとを備えてなるものであり、
前記バッテリーパックが、冷却剤が、前記モジュールアセンブリーの一の側の上側末端(または下側末端)を通して、前記支持部材により画定される密封空間に沿って導入され、前記モジュールアセンブリーを通って垂直に流れ、前記バッテリーアセンブリーの他の側の下側末端(または上側末端)を通って排出される、という冷却構造に構築されてなる、中型又は大型バッテリーパック。 - 前記冷却剤が、前記モジュールアセンブリーの後部上側末端を通して導入され、前記モジュールアセンブリーを通して垂直下方に流れ、前記バッテリーアセンブリーの前部下側末端を通して排出される、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。
- 前記支持部材が、
前記モジュールアセンブリーの最も外側にあるバッテリーモジュールの側部を取り囲んでなり、冷却剤が外側に漏れるのを防止する一対の側方支持部材と、
前記モジュールアセンブリーを底部から予め決められた高さに間隔を置いて配置し、前記モジュールアセンブリーの前部及び後部下側末端を支持してなり、前記側方支持部材に接続されてなる一対の底部支持部材と、及び
前記モジュールアセンブリーの最上部から前記モジュールアセンブリーに前記冷却剤を案内し、前記側方支持部材に接続されてなる、少なくとも一個の最上部接続部材とを備えてなる、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。 - 前記側方支持部材の各々が、一般的に、板形状構造に構築されてなり、
前記板形状構造が、板形状本体と、及び前記板形状本体の内側に取り付けた絶縁部材とを備えてなり、
前記板形状本体が、前記モジュールアセンブリーと接触して配置され、前記冷却剤の漏れを防止し、前記モジュールアセンブリーの温度の均一性を確保し、短絡の発生を防止するものである、請求項3に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。 - 前記絶縁部材が、密閉気孔を包含する重合体材料から製造されてなる、請求項4に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。
- 前記底部支持部材の各々が、前記モジュールアセンブリーの前部または後部下側末端に連結したフレーム本体と、及び前記フレーム本体の対向末端に形成された側方連結部分を包含してなり、前記側方連結部分が前記側方支持部材に連結されてなる、請求項3に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。
- 前記底部支持部材が底板上に取り付けられており、
前記底板が、一対のレールが上向きに連続的に突き出し、前記底部支持部材の対向末端を支持し、冷却剤流路を画定する構造に構築されてなる、請求項3に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。 - 各々の前記バッテリーモジュールから、電圧、電流、及び温度からなる群から選択された少なくとも一つの作動情報を受信し、処理するものであり、前記モジュールアセンブリーの後部に取り付けられた制御部材をさらに備えてなる、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。
- 前記側方支持部材に接続された少なくとも一個の最上部接続部材が、2以上の最上部接続部材を包含してなり、かつ
前記最上部接続部材の中で、前記モジュールアセンブリーの前部近くに配置された前記最上部接続部材が、それらの縦方向で前記パックハウジングと緊密に接触するのに十分な高さを有してなる、請求項3に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。 - 前記パックハウジングが、前記底板に連結されたハウジング本体を包含してなり、
前記ハウジング本体が、前記モジュールアセンブリーの前記最上部及び前記側方支持部材、前記ハウジング本体の前部に取り付けられた前板、及び前記ハウジング本体の後部に取り付けられた後板を取り囲んでなるものである、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。 - 前記ハウジング本体が、前記ハウジング本体の最上部及び反対側(対向側部)に、外部力に対する前記ハウジング本体の構造的安定性を改良するための複数のビーズを備えてなり、
前記ハウジング本体の前記最上部に形成された前記ビーズが、窪んだ構造に構築されてなり、
前記ハウジング本体の前記反対側に形成されたビーズが、突き出た構造に構築されてなる、請求項10に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。 - 前記前板が、配線ケーブル接続用の一個以上の通し穴を備えてなり、
前記後板が、冷却剤を導入するための一個以上の冷却剤入口を備えてなる、請求項10に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。 - 前記バッテリーセルの各々が、金属層及び樹脂層を包含するラミネートシートから製造されたバッテリーケース中に電極アセンブリーを取り付けた構造に構築されてなる小袋形バッテリーセルである、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。
- 単位モジュールの各々が、電極端子が互いに直列接続される構造に構築されてなる2以上のバッテリーセルを包含してなり、
前記電極端子間の接続部が折り曲げられ、前記バッテリーセルが積み重ねられてなり、一対の高強度モジュールケースが互いに連結され、電極端子区域を除いて前記バッテリーセルを取り囲んでなる、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。 - 前記パックハウジングの前部に取り付けた冷却ファンをさらに備えてなり、
前記冷却ファンが、前記パックハウジングに形成された冷却剤出口と連絡されてなる、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。 - 前記バッテリーパックが、電気自動車、又はハイブリッド電気自動車用の電力供給源として使用されてなる、請求項1に記載の中型又は大型バッテリーパック。
