Abstract
Description
ボンディングトレーと、ボンディングトレーに取り外し可能に結合された歯列矯正装具と、装具の基部に隣接するある量の光硬化性接着材料とを用意する工程と、
装具の基部を前記患者の歯の表面の隣に定置する目的で、ボンディングトレーを患者の歯列弓に当てる工程と、
ボンディングトレーの受容部内に光源を配置する工程と、
光硬化性接着材料を硬化させ装具を歯に接着する目的で、光源に通電する工程とを含む。
「近心側」は、患者の湾曲した歯列弓の中心に向かう方向を意味する。
Claims (25)
- 外表面と内表面とを有する本体であって、前記内表面が、歯列弓の少なくとも一部分に整合する外形を有する空洞を少なくとも部分的に画定する、本体と、
前記空洞に隣接して前記本体に取り外し可能に結合された複数の歯列矯正装具と、
を備える、歯列矯正処置用のインダイレクトボンディングトレーであって、前記本体の前記外表面が、少なくとも1つの隣接する装具にそれぞれ対応する複数の受容部を有し、前記複数の受容部が、光源を取り外し可能に受容し光を前記装具に向けて誘導するためのものである、歯列矯正処置用のインダイレクトボンディングトレー。 - 各受容部が、立面図で円形の少なくとも一部を概ね画定する構造を有する、請求項1に記載のインダイレクトボンディングトレー。
- 各受容部が、概ね平坦な底壁を有する、請求項1に記載のインダイレクトボンディングトレー。
- 前記本体がマトリックス材料を備える、請求項1に記載のインダイレクトボンディングトレー。
- 前記本体が、少なくとも部分的に光を透過させる材料を備える、請求項1に記載のインダイレクトボンディングトレー。
- 各受容部が前記本体内に凹部を備える、請求項1に記載のインダイレクトボンディングトレー。
- 各受容部が、前記外表面の隣接領域から外側に延びる少なくとも1つの突出部を備える、請求項1に記載のインダイレクトボンディングトレー。

- 外表面と内表面とを有する本体を備える、歯列矯正処置用のインダイレクトボンディングトレーであって、前記内表面が、歯列弓の少なくとも一部分に整合する外形を有する空洞を少なくとも部分的に画定し、前記ボンディングトレーが、前記本体に取り外し可能に結合された歯列矯正装具と、前記装具の全体に広がるある量の光硬化性接着材料とを更に有し、前記本体の前記外表面が少なくとも1つの受容部を有する、インダイレクトボンディングトレーと、
外端部を有する光源であって、前記外端部が、前記光硬化性接着材料に光を誘導する向きで前記受容部内に取り外し可能に受容される、光源と、
を備えるアセンブリ。 - 前記外端部が、前記受容部の断面形状に概ね整合する断面形状を有する、請求項15に記載のアセンブリ。

- 歯列矯正装具を患者の歯に接着する方法であって、
インダイレクトボンディングトレーと、前記ボンディングトレーに取り外し可能に結合された歯列矯正装具と、前記装具の基部に隣接するある量の光硬化性接着材料とを用意する工程と、
前記装具の基部を前記患者の歯の表面の隣に配置する目的で、前記ボンディングトレーを患者の歯列弓に当てる工程と、
前記ボンディングトレーの受容部内に光源を配置する工程と、
前記光硬化性接着材料を硬化させ前記装具を前記歯に接着する目的で、前記光源に通電する工程と、を含む方法。 - 請求項21に記載の歯列矯正装具を患者の歯に間接的に接着する方法であって、光源を前記ボンディングトレーの受容部内に配置する行為が、光導体の外端部を前記受容部内に嵌合させて受容させる行為を含む方法。
- 請求項21に記載の歯列矯正装具を患者の歯に接着する方法であって、インダイレクトボンディングトレーと、前記ボンディングトレーに取り外し可能に結合された歯列矯正装具と、前記装具の基部に隣接するある量の光硬化性接着材料を用意する行為が、前記ボンディングトレーに取り外し可能に結合された複数の歯列矯正装具と、各装具の前記基部に隣接するある量の光硬化性接着材料とを用意する行為を含む方法。
- 請求項23に記載の歯列矯正装具を患者の歯に接着する方法であって、前記光源に通電する行為が、前記装具の各々に関連付けられる前記接着材料を硬化させる行為を含む方法。
- 請求項21に記載の歯列矯正装具を患者の歯に接着する方法であって、インダイレクトボンディングトレーを用意する行為が、前記光源が通電されたときに合図するインジケータを用意する行為を含む方法。
